Regular spearmen are actually better than spearmasters after upgrading them a bit. Because spearmasters charges in, hits one attack and backflips out of range without hitting the enemy while spearmen stand still and spam regular attacks from maximum range. For testing, I upgraded spear and armor a little too much, (15 armor, 10 spear) and tested it against King's guard. Spearman and Mounted spearman kills King's guard while spearmaster still dies.
Winged bombs and Airstrike souldn't be luck based. One tiny balloon gets through both of them combined to the end of the map unharmed almost all the time because I'm so unlucky, wiping out most of my badges. (I use no flak upgrade, so I'd hit negative damage with it)
There is a fun strategy with the first two boss levels, where you use elves, and after you upgrade everything, you let only one, just one hobbit which was on a lower ground pass to your castle and after it starts to hit the castle you start to spam both phantom archers and hunters but nothing else. The archers won't be able to hit the hobbit below your castle, and the hobbit only hits for 12 damage. When the castle health is below 3k (to be safe from enemy angels), just send tanky units (Guardian, Angel, Dragon...) and watch the show
Tip for Cave of Trial 5, the invincible goblin: Don't use succubus, cannon and/or any other unit that will send the goblin flying. Whenever you see him up in the air, it's either baserace or direct game over as other units will push him towards your base for some reason.
Why can't we move our short ranged nuclear cannon instead of spending lots of money to upgrade launch power, thus, range? We could start upgrading range when we are supposed to shoot outta space.
Here's a very fun way of defeating Cave of Trial 4: Only works with Green hero, because of mana issues and other Cave cards are required. You pick Mermaid, Witch, Centaur, Succubus, Fire Demon and a tanky unit like Frost Giant. For skills you pick Comet, Heal, Freeze, Athena's, Hercule's strengh and Zeus' Wrath (Yep, both). Ingame, you just kill the Shadow Lord, and get your Fire titan to enemy castle. When first wave horn sounds, pop all your skills and watch the show.
"They told me I would never destroy the Earth. They told me I was mad to try. Well now they can all go f*** themselves" No they can't. Because they're all, you know, dead.
Rembrant the Bloody hell is too serious about building "ancient" family dynasty which leads him to completely ignore the advance in mana technology. He uses so little mana to support the army (2600) even less than before the events of the Holy Wars (Epic war 2)
