I just got all badges in 98 jumps. First you upgrade the wheels and rockets to at least level 2. The more rolling speed you have the better. Then buy the bat. Then you need to have 2 tricks: Pole Vault and Up-N-Out. Once you've got all this, you're ready to make some serious cash. Groupies will also help quite a bit as you can double your money with 3 of them. Launch as normal and do whatever you want in the air. The launch isn't the important part. When you land, do a Pole Vault followed immediately by Up-N-Out. Doing the Pole Vault automatically adds in a "Flip" trick, along with the Up-N-Out gives you 910 points with a x3 trick multiplier (2730 points). Spam this combination as soon as you land as many times in a row as you can. You can usually get about 3 or 4 in a row pretty easily, giving you upwards of 10k points (20k if you have the x2 style multiplier from groupies) without even counting distance, height, or your initial launch tricks.
Excellent game, but after completing it I went back to try and improve my scores. I did better on the first few levels and it increased my score just fine, and then it just stopped working. It wouldn't give me credit for improving higher than 82476, no matter how much better I did on the levels.
Front wheel drive was a terrible decision. The sound buttons only work in the main menu, but there's no way to get back to the main menu once you've started because the "quit" button doesn't work either.
ALL of the punishments are ridiculously harsh, except for the fly. I was up over 7 million points, kept running for a minute, got springboarded directly into a bee twice in a row, and when I looked back at my score I was back down around 500k. O_o Seriously? I think the penalties are based on your score multiplier as well, and that's just plain stupid.
There's a glitch. If you select a throwing attack (but don't throw it) and then change characters by using the 1-3 keys while the arrow is up, the throwing weapon will get stuck in the ground wherever it hits and sit there spinning forever.
It would be nice to have keyboard movement with mouse aiming. It gets rather frustrating at times trying to grab a guy while simultaneously dodging the gunfire he's putting out. Otherwise excellent game. Since there's no 4.5/5, I'll be nice and round up. ^_^
@badass2: Back up. Don't forget you can move left and right too. If you can't quite reach the guy on the bottom, back up to the right a bit and you'll line up easy headshots.
Anybody else watch Tasselfoot's walkthrough and notice that a few of his "solutions" were total BS and stuff was still moving quite a bit when it gave him the clear? WTF?
