Artillery hits exactly when and where you don't want it too, officers are absolutely useless, everyone dies no matter what you do, endless fighting over the same stupid trench, and you only win by spamming tanks.
So, basically the perfect WWI game.
Making the scroll buttons the same as actual command functions is a terrible idea. Some kind of skill tree upgrades and a way to see what the incoming wave is would be nice. Otherwise good game.
I jsut discovered the boss health/tracker at the bottom of the screen and I think this is the greatest single feature I have ever seen in this type of game.
First impressions: you're on to something good here, but it needs a lot of polishing. There's already plenty of comments about the tutorial, but here's some other suggestions: 1) In the "Fleets" section, tell us which fleet is stationed at which planet, or where they are headed. 2) Have an indicator next to enemy fleets as to how big they are. 3) Make it more clear what upgrades are global and which only apply to one planet. 4) Have an easy-to-find indicator of what the global upgrade totals are. 5) Instead of clicking event notifications to make them go away, how about clicking on them to read them?
I'm level 12. Someone whose level 11 can attack me twice, but I can't attack them back because their too weak? Or is it because they helped me build some stuff right afterwards, so the game automatically sets them as "friendly"? Either way, this is stupid.
I just realized that one of the things taht makes this game so great is taht there is no limit to how many things you can have building or upgrading at once. You can have 15 construction projects going if you have the resources.
whoops, i seems to miss something, sorry about that. now its live :) please enjoy
