Definitely not a passive or pure luck based game. I did think it was at first but the more you get into it you realise that all factors (ball size, drop position, thrust, slow, boost etc) play significant roles in strategy development. It's not as skill based as Peggle but is still a good game for the genre.
Considering the first piece of code I saw was a deprecated (and bad practice) use of AS1attached to movieclips I am also going t rate this as a 1. Tutorials should at least be written in the current version of ActionScript (or AS2 at the very least).
mayoarm11 I highly recomend learning t code using AS3 (AS2 at the very least) as the actionscript in your fla files is full of bad technique and deprecated code.
regarding the score loss thing when you start an area: I like the fact that you have to be strategic in the level you choose and that your score can go backwards.... BUT.... I'm not sure I want to play anymore as my score is pretty well as high as I can get it. Replayability stops at this point.
AS2? are people still using it? surely AS3 is much more relevant given that these tutorials are for people wanting t get into development. Teaching an old version of a language isn't a good idea IMO especially when AS2 relates to F8 and F10 is about to be released.
Awesome work ttursas. BTW - On returning to the game I don't have any levels saved from the previous version.... hopefully it's just me but I imagine others will be p***ed.
Try putting in some effort instead of expecting everyone else to do the work for you or give you all the answers. Use google, search for tutorials, learn how to code.
