Couple things: 1) There's a bug where certain games start you at a hilariously slow speed. Just thought I'd let you know.
2) 80,000 is really really high for a second level achievement. I'd love to see the rest of what you've got to offer but with this brick wall restricting access to the rest of your game, I don't really feel like throwing down cash for the full version. You've got a good game, don't let the scoring system kill it.
Thanks for the feedback! For #1, we have a fix locally. It seems to be related to hitting the restart button too fast. For #2, we hear you! We'll get an update out that addresses this, once the Kickstarter craziness calms down :)
2 Important things you didn't get from Shootorial:
1) Preloader Preloader Preloader. Look it up, they're really easy, and not that hard to customize.
2) I don't know why they had this problem too, but you need to turn off the bonuses after the game is finished. Could probably do that just by changing the alpha to 0 when game over.
Ok, so here's what the aftermath of my final run was:
Speed 100
Life 100
Sight 100
Land 100
Souls available 1516
Total souls 4309
High level 35
Resources 49110
Couple points: First, down is a really bad key for selling because when I keep hopping up after the enemy's already fallen off the totem, I don't want to start selling pieces of it, I wanna get down there and kill the guy! Secondly, the whole game is basically no challenge when you use the dual shot. I'm pretty bad at these types of games and I was able to 5 star nearly every level the first time using only the dual shot and the damage upgrade. Far be it from me to say that I enjoy losing, but you might want to look into better balance in the future. Other than that, fun and worth playing through to the end.
@Sonjha: I believe it means "learn how to spell."
I have a new game. Fully upgrade ship, press launch, take bets, sit back and let the wind take it where it will. I almost got the hard achievement once doing that. Almost :(
When your artistic stylings get so far ahead of you that you lose track of the fun in your game, maybe it's time you take a step away from the developers console for a bit. Seriously, I haven't seen ANY positive comments on this.
