For the Developer: For the Way of the Warrior skill tree, why not add a passive skill that allows for melee attacks to hit multiple enemies for diminished damage. The enemy that you click would receive full damage while the others would receive a percentage of that amount, modified by fury level and skill rank. Each skill rank would increase the amount of indirect damage as well as the effective range. I have never seen this implemented into a point-and-click interface MMO and I think it would work well here.
Great game, but it would be so much more user-friendly if you could sculpt your shapes after they have been drawn instead of having to redraw everything. Another thing is, there really needs to be a key for making straight edges. It gets really frustrating to try to draw shapes that are level so that they don't move when they fall.
If you're going to use thatguyyaknow's strategy, DO NOT use ice towers, period. Even if you have the extra cash to buy other towers (most importantly, the bomb tower for dealing with blacks, leads, and whites), do not use frozen towers in conjunction with these. Adding frozen towers is counterproductive because the dart monkeys can't shoot them while frozen. My dumb ass had to learn the hard way on round 40!
The iPhone app version is awesome! There's literally double the content of this game with Darkdog mode, plus an enchanting system and survival mode. It's one of the best apps I've downloaded in a long time and totally worth the $2. I can't wait to see what else they add in future updates.
The only problem I have with the game is that nothing seems to happen when you level up your individual units. There are no increases to the numbers above the bars, and the bars only gain an imperceptibly small sliver on the bar itself. It is really important for players to feel like the upgrades actually matter!
For the love of god, please correct your grammar and spelling in the game's description. So many developer's seem to forget about this, and it drives me crazy!!!
I've got to say, beyond the game itself, you really stumbled upon some powerful imagery with the missile literally chasing you down. I know it's just meant to thematically drive the gameplay, but the imagery actually sort of symbolizes humanity as it tries to escape destruction by its own hands. Considering the fragile state of the world today, such symbolism makes quite the elegant statement, regardless of whether or not it was intended to.
Didn't mean to get all heavy, it just struck me as a really cool idea. Great job!
Is there a perk for shotgun mastery? Also, can you add the option to play using arrow keys instead of WASD? I'm on a laptop and it's pretty awkward as is.
Would be better if it had the option to use ASWD for shooting like in Diamond Hollow II. It's hard to aim your spells while moving if you're playing on a laptop with a touchpad.
