Interestingly enough, if you apologize at the court, you can still smash the memorial, and you'll get your cat's sympathy, but if you go to the memorial, apologize, and THEN smash it, then you'll get the sad ending where not even your cat sympathizes with you.
What's the point of the saws if it takes the same amount of energy it would have required to chop down the tree one at a time? Shouldn't that be a flat-out feature that you can use indefinitely to save time, as opposed to a limited-use item?
What's the point of giving me a pinata that can only be opened if I watch a video where it's just going to tell me, "sorry, the request couldn't be completed?" If the game can't load the ad anymore, it should just let me have the pinata for free.
Most of the levels were really easy, until I got to level 62, which ate up all my lives, because you have to have ridiculously precise timing to get the bon bons across, set the platform at the exact right time, while avoiding getting hit by any of the bombs.
Is there no way to remove a single object when designing a level? It seems like all you can do is reset the entire design, which makes it really crappy when you add one bon bon too many and now have to restart from scratch.
I get that this is meant to be like a gameboy game, but the lack of quality of life features is really daunting. Going through the dialogue is really tedious, and equipping things is painfully slow. I also find it rather awkward having to remember the name of which character just got attacked so I can remember which character to heal, would it be too difficult to have the amount of HP a character has left next to their name when selecting them?
This is actually designed in GB Studio, so it is a homebrew Gameboy game. That, unfortunately, does limit me in some aspects (like having HP displayed in certain parts). I'm addressing the tedious equipment process though. An optimization option is being added to help streamline that.
