Controls are very clunky and inconsistent. Still an alright little platformer though. That last speeder section's coins are pretty awkwardly placed so it took many attempts to collect them all. 3/5
Seeing new characters with new scenarios was fun, but having basically every request be a duplicate after day 20 makes the game quite long and repetitive.
Was a low 4 star game until i reached the final boss. For reference, I reached him with less than half the upgrades. Even after grinding for all the upgrades and using all the runes it still took forever to kill the boss. This boss alone bring the game down to a 1 star.
The only game I have ever seen that I can not beat even WITH A WALKTHROUGH. 1/5 how did this pixel hunting garbage get anything more than an easy badge?
Make enemies give more money or make the prices slightly cheaper, imo it takes too long to get new weapons. Also (Note: I did not get past the birds so if this changes later on ignore this suggestion), makes some enemies vertically positioned instead of horizontally, because as of now, the best strategy to make them easy to hit is to either stand at the top or bottom and then you hardly need to move.
More suggestions (I'm commenting this while still playing through it): Make the snakes easier to see, they are almost invisible (unless this is intentional i suppose) If possible, make the character able to shoot all 360 degrees, not just certain spots (I don't know if that makes sense the way I worded it). Also make it so the store menu does not appear until all the enemies are cleared.
The snakes are suppose to be hard to see but I made his eye a little larger since they are a rather early enemy in the game but it might not make much difference so feel free let me know what you think, thanks again for your input!
Very good start, I'd say you should work on adding instructions and text that appears when hovering over an item telling you what it does. I would also recommend adding special boss type enemies every so often and upgrades that not only help your castle, but also slightly improve its appearance. (Games that have upgrades that change the appearance of things are always more fun, check out upgrade complete to see what I mean).
I have just added a separate menu with more info on all the enemies and buttons, You can get to it from the instructions, as for some of your other comments I will be posting another update tomorrow and will read through them again to see what I could add quickly and smoothly,(Already finished making buttons appear after killing the enemies) some of the larger features will take more time but I am defiantly thinking off adding things like special waves with bosses as people seem to want to see this. IMPORTANT: Play the game on firefox, playing using chrome makes the game almost unplayable due to glitches. +1 this so people can see and get the badges.
13 days completed and 30000 available points on the default difficulty is enough the lowest amount needed for the hard badge (Note:Every level is worth 5000 points so you could also do 12 levels completed with 35000 points of 14 levels completed with 25000 points etc)
