Level 19 (Helker Skelter) is considerably more complicated than it needs to be. Ignore the switches, just shoot for the baskets and get it done in 6 throws, yet it allows 9.
In the actual game everything (except the level menu) is described by level name, in the walkthrough everything is by number. You should add names to the walkthrough, or numbers to the game.
To do the last mission: When the big ships are shielded they are invulnerable! Don't even try to shoot them, it will do nothing. You have to take out the shield generators (small drones).
If I could give this game -5 starts I would. It's horrible. I loath games where the character is on ice skates (momentum), and I loath "do over" games (games where you just try the level over and over). Put them both in the same game and you have one of the worst games to ever get badges.
Poorly designed game. I finished it with just my original cards. Keep restarting battles till you start with 3 gold mines. Keep playing cards and hoping for gold mines till your card deck is completely full (i.e. you can't play any other structure cards). Then play the strongest char you have (to open a slot), and try for more gold mines. Keep doing this till you have a full slot of 5 of the best chars you had. Next use a calculator and figure out how much gold in TOTAL you need to play every single character (i.e. cost * number). Just let the computer keep sending units, and you keep ignoring him. Wait till you have that much gold + extra if you can (extra gold is if you are doing OK on health, then keep waiting and doing nothing). Then spam all your chars at once (as fast as it will let you). If you have extra gold add some more chars, and play them too as fast as you can. You win. Never send chars one at a time - it's a total waste of money, send them all at once, or none at all.
If you play perfectly, then by level 10, with a combo of 75 you will have more than 100,000 points. The previous calculation listed here of 95 combo does not take into account the "Perfect level" bonuses.
Really don't like the controls. I keep over/under shooting, and missing the enemy by just a little. I think it's from momentum - please get rid of it. When I let go of the arrow key the tank should stop, and not continue for a moment in the previous direction.
This is almost a good game. The biggest problem with it by far is the small viewing area. If I could just see farther in the game it would be great. It's also rather annoying how the screen is constantly moving - I try to jump and shoot the rope, but I miss because the screen moved.
I played it both ways, I understood the message, and I thought it was stupid because it was far too simplistic. People think they got some deep message, but actually they didn't.
uga32 - Hanoi does work. If the door does nothing it's because you can't move the piece. Read up on how to play "Towers of Hanoi", and then look at the level again and you'll understand it.
BTW, all the levels are winnable. Including the incomplete ones. I have 80 stars as of right now, with every level done. The developer might add more levels, and then the star count will go up.
Best as I can tell the rules go like this: The circle you click on vanishes. Then the remaining ones collide, and if there is more than one of the same color they vanish. If there is a color without a pair it stays. I don't think this is the complete rule, but I hope it helps.
Thanks for posting this.
