I loved the first amberial, I hate this one. I HATE games that have such poor response to the controls. When I push left - go left, do not first sloooow down, then accelerate to the left. I do not care if the real world works that way. My instinct is to push the keys harder to make it move faster, which works in the real world, but not in a game. So don't do controls like that.
Boring. To win level 12 don't shoot at all, just keep moving in a circle. (If you shoot you get more enemies randomly, instead of all being nicely bunched up in the middle.) Very boring though.
Game is buggy - I didn't even move the mouse on insane mode and I scored 502 (PWONG PWNER) (6 balls hit, 18% hit rate). Yet on easy I got negative 140 - and that's for trying as best as I could.
@hazahaxa Why shouldn't there be gravity in space? I think you need to go take some physics courses. Tip: Astronauts are not in zero gravity - they are in free fall. A little googling on the difference between those two terms should help you.
I don't like that it's mouse controlled. I don't like that you can't see the entire map at once - I want a logic game, not a maze. And I hate timed logic games! So only 3 stars instead of the 5 it could be (five assuming it has good puzzles, I didn't play all the way since I hate the mouse control).
I figured out why challenge 6 is so hard for some people - it's because the game is calculating time by real time, instead of counting frames. So if you computer is a bit slower, challenge 6 is literally impossible - you simply can not move the ship enough in the the time alloted.
That also explains why I've yet to get a single time bonus, even though I'm doing really well. It's the same problem - it's counting real time, so since my ship moves slower, I simply can't finish that fast.
Please change this.
@dantig I hope you'll see this. It's possible skid for 2000 and more in race 5. The secret is tapping the accelerator, and not holding it down. You have to find the right speed at which to tap, but if you do it right you can make a very tight small skid, and go a full circle in the part of the track where you have to make a 180 degree turn.
I got 13270.4! Totally legit, just move your mouse of the game window and you can throw really really far. If you have a large monitor you can probably get insane distances.
Excellent idea/concept, poor implementation. I stopped playing after fighting with a gear to try to get it to place. How to make this a better game: Gears should not pop-out if they are bad and if there is a conflict in direction don't make them pop-out, just freeze up the machine. Get rid of gears poping out - it's annoying. I would also suggest going to a fixed grid of gear location, so I can focus on the puzzle and not on trying to fit the gear in exactly the right spot. That would also solve the red gear issue - the grid can be made such that it's impossible to place a gear wrong, plus the grid can be part of the puzzle with only certain locations available.
@MikesHood level 14 does not require not a bug nor a walkthrough. Just some thinking and experimenting - it was the funnest level of them all, I liked 15 too.
