Thats a cool little game, I am not sure if you are supposed to have a limited number of deaths as the game got stuck in a "You are Dead" scene but I really like what I see so far!
I am sorry but I don't get why you ask for another registration to play the game if you are releasing it through congregate and we have already used our passwords to login in kong... you probably lose a lot of gamers this way...at the very least you should allow a guest feature for players to try the game out before they register...
Once you clear a level you can go to the main menu and restart from the highest level you cleared! I don't think people realise yet how cool this game is!
also the save function sure doesnt work, i saved having discovered 9 types of ships and having 70% of achievements and the game is reset once you close the browser, even though i ensured i saved...
A fun game consider adding increasing difficulty sectors, all you have to change is that background from blue to red and increase by 150% health on all enemies for second sector, then a similar approach to a third sector (200% health on all enemies) and you could stand a chance of getting badges for your game!
