RIP: Development of this game, apparently. At least remove the promises to make more soon! But thank you for what you made so far. It was fun. But let's call a dead horse dead.
Indeed, Woodclicker 1 is way dead, it has been for like half a year now, I'm surprised people are JUST noticing this. Also, I can't update the game any more as Kongregate doesn't support Unity Web GL, sorry about that, I've tried.
I am encountering a bug in which after beating a boss, I cannot move at all on the next boss fight. I am wearing a few of the sock accessories, maybe there is a bug with that. I am using google chrome.
To add to my previous comment, I see that the game has issues with safari. I am using chrome, but I do use adblock and java pop-up blockers, so one of those might be causing my problems. I certainly do not automatically blame the programmers!
I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but I had to quit my web browser, and I lost 2 or 3 days of progress. Not too happy about that, but I guess bugs happen. Could be my web browser, who knows? The strange thing is, I didn't lose all progress, it's as if the game saved after a day of playing and didn't ever save again.
That is pretty weird, never heard of that. Today's update should make save issues less likely to reoccur, though. If you remember what units you had and how long you played, whisper me and i can get you a save near where you left off.
OMG Look at him munch! I really enjoyed this game, from the joyful melodies of the Bonus Bonus to the hilarious descriptions and Easter eggs. I do not have any particular suggestions at this time other than please keep making games and keep being you. I am dying to know however: is there a third planet to unlock that I just cannot find? If so, hints would be much appreciated!
It is clear from reading the comments that the author is still working hard to update this game. Despite the fact that the game needs balance and endgame work, its quite well done and enjoyable. The 8-bit style gfx are charming, and the concept adds a unique feel to an established idle click genre. I am writing this comment only to encourage the author to continue the work, because I eagerly check this game daily for updates. Thank you for your hard work!
spent over 24 hours playing on and off only to find the save didn't work when I needed a reboot of browser. I understand that it works now, but wow. No desire to start from scratch as I move on to other games that are released in a working state.
