For those stuck after earning fire and diagonal shooting, go to the 2nd top left blue room to get fire power 2 (shoot through walls). Then go to the very bottom left to collect the last heart. Then go to the last room to beat the boss.
For the badge, I recommend knifing the small dinos and shooting the spitters. Your first purchase should be a turret and the second purchase is to upgrade your turret. And stay close to the turret. And walk around in circles to avoid getting hit by the spitters.
Beginner Instructions: Defeat 1 or 2 Mooks squares and then try to find the Daimyo to take advantage of the HP restoration. Then defeat more Mooks and use Rice Fields to restore. Upgrade recommend: 1) Focus: Chakra (extremely helpful) 2) Regeneration 3) Multi Strike. I bought the Brute first (doesn't die so quickly) and then the Archer.
