All of the timers need to be reduced, especially clicking. I'm guessing the clicking timer is to dissuade autoclickers but the clicking is so insignificant it isn't even worth doing. If you want to keep the clicking timer clicks need to do way more damage. I am not going to sit there and click every few seconds just to do 5% of an enemy's health and that is with dumping most of my money into upgrades.
This game need more variety, it feels like a demo. The powerups need to be more than just shot rate up. I died to the final boss when he was almost dead and honestly I have no desire to try again. The roguelike aspect of this game just isn't interesting enough to make it worth doing all that over again. The backward shot not working when near a wall is very annoying. Also not a fan of the ghosts, they move really fast, take multiple hit and have invicibility frames. It is really hard to dodge 10 heatseeking wizard shots when I have 6 ghosts chasing me as fast as I can even run. My biggest complaint is there is too much and it moves too fast. There are honestly points where it is impossible to not get hit, there are just too many bullets and they move too fast. That really ruins a lot of fun. It is one thing for death to be my fault, it is another for it to literally be impossible to win at times. It takes a lot of fun out of the game.
It would be nice if the number of enemies increased the chance for loot. I get 0 loot the majority of the time and I know it isn't just me because I have seen it skip numbers and jump to 0 after I hit the button. When I do get loot though it is scrolls 80% of the time. It is resulting in me falling very far behind in gear.
This game could be really fun but it is just way too slow. The fact that i have to keep going back and forth across the same roads over and over is just punctuated with the 2x combat resetting every fight. Even at 2x the fights can be a real drag when you really out class the enemies.
Jumping up the left side allows you to reach the top of the line/wall, If you jump over you fall forever as the bottom of the level loops to the top of the level.
I don't understand the skill points awarded from leveling up. Level 18 I received 87 points, level 19 I received 35 points, Level 20 I got -20 points (yes, negative), and level 21 I got 25 (I only had 5 so I assume the other 20 canceled the negative 20).
I'd be nice to see some bonus for leveling the cars. As of now the cars start having more and more drastic gaps so that by the 5th car it isn't even really worth upgrading the previous cars anymore. The bonus fame they give starts being lost in the rounding of the numbers.
The auto fame generation is way off. A single click gives me 1.2 billion fame, where as having 1000 Street Teams only gives me 1.05 million per second. This game is only playable with an autoclicker.
It was kind of a struggle to get it to actually load but once I did it is a very nice game. One thing that I find kind of irritating though is the achievement/bonus pop-up is constantly in the way of trying to buy anything from the right column. Having to go through and hit the X on each one starting at the top just to buy something detracts a bit from the game.
The time reduction is a bit of a double edged sword. Sometimes I want them to stick around longer, easy ones like HCl are great. What if instead there was a force refresh ability and the upgrade reduced the cooldown for using it?
It would be nice if there was a faster way to level up at higher levels. Ruins some of the fun with how long you have to sit holding down the button to level a stat to 40.
Even before you get the laser I feel like the second weapon is useless. It is just too slow. I fully upgraded it and then didn't use it because I realized the first weapon was better until you get the laser.
It would be nice if there was some kind of reset or something. I did not get the B before the D and so now I got stuck because I can't make the word "bleak."
I really enjoyed the game. I liked how you had to actually move around, it was a great twist on the classic object find genre. I was a little turned off once I reached the water level and the items started to move. It was kind of annoying having to chase down objects or having to stand still and just wait for them since they had kind of large paths. Also It slowed my computer down quite a bit and for some reason if I clicked will trying to move my character would shoot off in some arbitrary direction and the cursor in a different direction even if I was moving it.
August9929, I am sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience! It sounds like lag might have been been an issue! I KIND of regret making that level. I think levels like Rose Inn was a smart decision and that Sea Level is far from it! thank you for playing!
I exited the game and came back later and all of the sudden I had -$90,000 and ended up losing because of this, even though I had $100,000 when I quit.
I think this is a good idea that I'll put into the sequel!
