Sure, I don't doubt they are difficult. I just don't usually see a developer come out and say that when it is such a big problem to their game.
I do agree changing settings would be a help. I ran out of characters so couldn't post more in depth :)
I stand by my comment though. Compared to the first two games I can't consider this one to be a success.
I loved the previous two games. When I saw this in my list last night I was very excited. I played for a while and the game was fine, a little lag but it wasn't too bad.
Today I played and the lag was awful. Reading a quote from the developer was concerning:
"I'm afraid we won't be able to fix it this problem is too deep and complex"
I wouldn't expect a dev to use terms like "too deep and complex" about their own program.
I understand you put a lot of time and effort and I do appreciate the work. However, an honest appraisal does mean that, for any who does experiance the lag, the game will be a poor example of your work.
Whether it's the graphical changes or the coding itself the previous games were works of art in comparison. I have completed them both on multiple occasions and still enjoy playing them with different tactics.
I don't comment often but I wanted to here. I hope the developers either resolve the issues for further CT games they make or revert to the older style.
I lost my fully completed saved game yesterday. Started a new one last night and just found out that save is gone too.
Come on guys, this is a great game. The only one I paid for on Kong. Nothing has changed and all my other games save fine. Have a look into the save issue please.
Sounds reasonable. The revert to the older style is not possible already, I'm afraid. I guess we must pull our socks and try to fix the darn lag....
