A bit gloomy, but still pretty nice, I really liked the music ingame and the graphics are pretty cool aswell. Of course I also liked the gameplay itself, but I think the game was a little bit short.
Wait... so the bird gets out of his golden sarcophagus, risks its own life by flying over living quicksand, avoiding spikes and dodging arrowtraps to reach... an identical golden sarcophagus? Sounds legit.
You'd think earth would spend $10,000 or $20,000 more instead of just giving the pilot a ship with $20 and wishing him good luck. Maybe they were just busy dancing to the awesome battle theme though.
Seriously? You have Streets of Rage 1 AND 2? Man, you could have included so many other awesome games like Lufia, Terranigma, Illusion of Time, Act Raiser, Front Mission or Castlevania instead... come to think of it, why not make a sequel? There's still lots of good games you did not mention here (well sure, you included some sprites, but that's just not the same). It was a fun game though, even if some games were really hard to find out for me. Especially sports games and a bunch of Genesis games (yep, I played SNES instead :P).
Oh I like this one - it's something new and original and I really like the graphics and music and the gameplay is fun. Anyway, just like many other people I have my own suggestions for this game: 1)Since weapons seem to be supposed to break, upgrading them is useless, so why not increase the prices for upgrades, but therefore applying the upgrades to all weapons of the character? 2)The camera needs WASD controls, that would be much better. 3)Not a fan of friendly fire, but since it's part of the game, I can live with that. It's okay when they lose a few HP when I bump into them. However sometimes you have to do the push attack on your ally, which is annoying, because even if I manage to stop it when it's empty, the ally still suffers full damage, so if you could at least change that, it would be pretty nice. 4)Leveling up feels a bit slow to me, don't know how the other players feel, though. 5)Most upgrades aren't really useful to me (except new allies, more money and crit chance etc).
Finally a new part, but it seemed so short again (guess that just means the game is good :P). I don't know if I mentioned it in the prequels, but I really like the music that plays at the beginning, the art is great as always and it's a nice addition to add text when hovering over an item. This game had a darker and creepier feeling to it than the ones before, but I'm glad you still added some funny things here and there, I like your humor :) The children's song was a good way to create this creepy/scary feeling, but it became a bit annoying when it started replaying a few times and that creature.. or ghost...thing that randomly pops up startled me and was really annoying aswell, especially when you are exploring random areas and it keeps popping up anyway. Well, all in all another great (but short) game, keep up the good work :D
Oh I like this one.. simple and cool graphics, a new and creative gameplay (especially with the elements and all that stuff). And while the music wasn't really my style it still sounds good. All in all very fun, but a bit too short for me (translation: this game is so good, I want to play more). I expected different endings for different decisions. Oh, and a mini-map or a full-view option would be a nice addition for bigger levels, though they aren't that big right now.
Man, that was hard, but good. Was the last sentence supposed to be a "hidden message"? After beating the final level when you can see the text, try scrolling down with your mousewheel while in the game window to see what I mean.
Another thing that bugs me is that you can't see how much HP an enemy has left (I mean numbers here, because it would be pretty handy to know how much damage you have to deal to break the HP bar or kill the enemy so you can plan ahead). Also in the shop you should grey out items that require a higher level to equip or just turn them red, I already sold many items too early before I realized I need another level to equip the new thing. Oh and while we're at the shop and equipment section: we should be able to just switch the current gear with the one in our bag, because right now you have to unequip the old item first and then equip the new one again (which is another reason why I accidentally sold items too early). Drag&Drop would be a nice thing, too but it's not necessary. And I guess that's all for now, I may have forgotten something, but this should be enough feedback for now :)
Okay as other people already mentioned this is a nice game with great graphics, neat music and pretty good gameplay. However there are a bunch of flaws and if you could fix them, the game would be even better! First of all the grid is way too small for strategies, so you have to be kinda lucky even if you could easily crush the opponents. Then there's the issue with restarting battles: why not add a button for that, so people don't have to refresh every time they want to start over (reasons for this will probably be perfect kills and/or gold trophies)? On to the next point - which would be enemy selection: Sometimes you can't select an enemy behind another one or you have to click more than once to change the enemy selection for whatever reason, which is really annoying since you have to click a dozen times just to switch targets. [I made a second comment, since Kongregate hates me and only lets me use 1000 characters per comment.]
I don't like this kind of games. Fortunately this one had very nice graphics and great music (my favourite track was the one in Rose Inn) and.. I don't know, the game just has a nice atmosphere. And since it kept me busy for quite a long time without melting my brain with boredom or unleashing the fury of 1000 suns in me, I you could say the gameplay was pretty nice aswell.. or maybe everything else just distracted me good enough. So all in all I like it, good work :)
A bit short and a bit easy, but still an awesome game with nice artwork and music.. though I wonder if there is an alternate ending when you don't get enough stars... Would be nice to see more games like this, so keep up the good work!
Awesome, I like it! It's pretty cool to get to know the names of some famous songs that everybody knows, but not everybody knows the name/artist of it, so you can even learn something in this game :P
Oh, and some songs (or sometimes just a part of it) sounds a bit odd, but the rest sounds pretty awesome.
"I don't like this kind of games." Me too. I make real game later. Rose Inn??? Thank you!
