why is it when I have wendy out that I cant recruit til I unlock sal ? that's bad
You can click the swap button to select Wendy without purchasing Sal. Once you've swapped to her, she'll stay on the bench throughout your resets until you switch back to Sal.
ummm I completed the first quest from emos life and I cant wendy the witch who does she replace or is she a new character (witch)
In the How to Play, and event blog, we mention that Wendy will switch out for Prince Sal.

it would be cool if we could create our own levels with personalised goals restictions and backgrounds just a thought

Just an idea but could you put an indicator if we can complete the level next without being on it
Do you mean pre-beat an area and skip 2 or 3 areas ahead when you hit the "Next Area" arrow?
