Great game, but it's a little annoying to craft something, and then find out that you have to collect all the materials again because NOW you got the crafting quest. Any chance it could be tied to your recipe book instead?
I agree with other commenters about the ability to equip multiple evolutions, which would both add complexity to the game (allowing you to test the usefulness of different combinations) and help soften the blow of buying a bad evolution. Another suggestion to add complexity to the game would be to score points for survival time rather than collecting plasma, making the player choose between collecting plasma for survival/point multiplier. As it is, the double fuel evolution is worse than useless. I suffered a mid-game slump (partially due to choosing the aforementioned useless evolution) where I wasn't really improving and didn't feel like I was working towards anything. It's a really good game right now, could be a great one!
Wish I could've voted this higher but found it unplayable without referring to comment thread. Definitely needs some sort of tutorial or more explicit instructions.
