Am I missing something on 2-1? I cannot figure out how to get that level with no lost lives. (I can't get 5-1 either, so I just did 5-2 instead. It is possible!)
I don't know -- I think this easy badge should have been medium instead. I had a hard time getting this badge! It comes down to how many "upgrade" cards you get. The more wizards, soldiers, and builders you get, the more likely it is that you win. It took me 12-15 games to win, and that game was the only time I had more citizens than the computer. (The usual ratio at the end of the other games was something like 12:9 -- the computer with 12 citizens and I with 9.)
I enjoyed the end game process more than the first half -- something about taking over the hexagons but still being able to have the action was an interesting combination. (Are there other games that have a similar gameplay?) A tad more flexibility in reinforcement would have been good -- what value is a large army when it can't do anything? Also, the payoff or effect of winning all the hexagons ended up being nothing, really, nothing more than the satisfaction of taking over all the hexagons.
Hey, let's make a game where we serve different kinds of Papa's games to players based on their likes and such ... there are enough of these flipping games to make a Papa's Arcade-aria without any problem. Sheesh. Enough, already. Do another Cactus McCoy and stay away from these carbon-copy cutesy brain-numbing restaurant management games.
I found track #6 to be one of the easiest; had to spend a lot of time there grinding up upgrades to finish the next two. (By the way, does raising your hands really do anything for you? Money? Speed?)
I would also like to see a more advanced formula for points -- for example, a "fantastic" pass should count for more than a "simple" pass, and a decent/close attempt on a goal should count for something with the fickle fans.
Oh, yeah -- the "home," "play," and "help" buttons should be moved around a bit so you don't have to continuously zigzag across the screen to click buttons.
Pretty good game overall; very unique blend of management and play. I think the energy system is needlessly stingy, and the interception play is too random, but in general a fun game.
Got the hard badge! 340 seconds ... close! By the way, how are the "10500" (350 seconds) and "16500" (550 seconds) figured? I can't see the significance, only that 350x30=10500 and 550x30=16500. What's important about 30?
