Thanks, Silver Claws. Very helpful as always. Kind of relieved, actually, that I haven't gotten to snakes yet. I'm still in recovery mode from the last few events.
Okay foundation, but the biggest flaw for me is not finding out what the word is. Played three rounds, and lost every one -- not fun, but at least I'd like to know what the words were.
Hey there, losing is unfortunately part of the game but you'll get better with time. And if you remember the passwords after they've been revealed, you may have an advantage later on :)
In case you've become accustomed to my helping out your windmill, I realized today that doing 10-12 windmills a day means running out of oil. Smart, huh? Anyway, I'm out of the windmill business for now. Sorry for any incovenience.
Finished two events in one day. Interesting experience, busy May. I was wondering if there was any sort of advantage to putting the rhubarb cakes on the main island -- they don't do anything once placed, right? Might as well just place them on the pirate island?
Thanks, Silver Claws. The description (for me, at least) cuts off with, "Grow 20" and I assumed that meant cucumbers. The shop icon tip is huge, though. Thanks again!
I think I'm missing a good portion of the game due to graphics (e.g., special abilities/powers), but it's still playable to a degree. We'll see if I grind through for the badge today.
Cresswga -- I think your instincts are better than mine. I did the math, and the clear winner (in terms of energy and output) is planting bunnies. Even if you wait for four hours to harvest like I do, it still holds up pretty well against raising eggs. Thanks for the suggestion!
Any strategy advice on what crops to use on the event island? I think the two questions are: 1) how much energy to bring to harvest, and 2) whether to harvest or continue to feed (for the two eggs). If I have space for 60 items, it will cost me 60 energy for field digging, 16 minutes for harvest readiness, and then a one-time harvest of 180 cheerful bunnies. Or 180 energy to raise 60 green eggs at a minimum of 3 hours, with a one-time sale of 420 cheerful bunnies. Or 180 energy to raise 60 blue eggs at a minimum of 6 hours, with a one-time sale of 300 cheerful bunnies. I don't think I want to go through the stress of green eggs again, so now I'm looking at my current blue egg birds, thinking maybe it would be best not to sell them, and harvest 300 cheerful bunnies every 4 hours?
Lesson learned -- burying rabbits in your backyard in real life does NOT go over well with local officials. Added "offensive language" fine for telling them I was just burying "scuts."
With apologies to the Rolling Stones and to not being able to see redundant feedings through the redness:
I see a red duck, and I want to pay you back.
But is it already a dead duck? (I really need to pay you back.)
I look inside myself and see my heart is black,
I see your red duck; someone HAS to have paid you back.
