Well done game however... Level 12 is so rage inducing I have just given up. After getting all the challenges and hard modes on every level done the basilisks are just so far over the top they have made an otherwise very enjoyable game get 1 star as a rating. Beating the level seems to be entirely a combination of luck and stun locking and I really think that is a bad way to do things, especially when you lose in roughly 20 seconds without getting lucky with stuns. Overall good game, Well programmed, No memory loss after ages of play time, but a stressful waste of time once you get to level 12.
Also, if you are fond of attacking multiple enemies use lots of %chance of status effects on the guy who does it. The status effect chance still affects all who are hit by the skill.
Turn 1. Open with area stun from archer. Execute a caster if possible with rogue and fighter. Use mage to cast a group buff. Turn 2-3 Kill chaff. Turn 3+ Cast buffs, start chopping down the big ones for the next few turns.
Long formulaic battles. Overall not too bad to play though.

Allied AI is foul. Boss fight takes longer than the rest of the game. Repetitive grinding game play. Timed challenges that are completely irritating to beat. Other challenges where you do nothing except watch as your party kill themselves by walking or better yet just watch something else entirely as you play no part in it. Final boss has a health bar so large that you question your sanity for even bothering with it. Final boss can one shot your entire fully upgraded fully runed party. Final boss ignores dodge from roll. Glitchy in that most levels will result in monsters either locked off screen or rendered invulnerable standing doing nothing. Primary strategy is to wait until skills come back, use them and wait more. Utter Garbage.
My army tends to reach the end zone (an accomplishment in itself as enemies seem to spawn 3 tanks per tank I spawn) then just waits until my morale runs out. Am I doing something wrong?
Worst control system of any game I have thus far played on kongregate. To attack an enemy one must click them, doing so selects the enemy rather than attacking them most of the time. Should you be lucky enough to kill an enemy then your soldiers frequently just start walking by your enemies and die rather than continuing the fight. Though I could play through this I would have to suffer through playing it rather than enjoying it. In short Relic of war's non functional cousin.
Last level never took a hit. Lines from castle to enemies - Archer line, archer line, archer line, slow line, spike line, spike line, spike line, slow line. Dealt with flying enemies by Cannon, lightning, cannon combo. Fired cannon into ground enemies and hit fire elementals with ice ball attack. When archers lost health used heal however my archers were only hit around 4 times through the level.
Okay. This game was not rewarding in any way. It was tedious. I have had each of these things happen countless times. 1. Enemy spawns inside you and swords you. instant death. 2. Enemy shoots corpse/corpse suddenly is infront of you. instant death. 3. 24/25 kills done by myself enemy still gets 25 kills before I do. 4. Allies hold enemy flag so noone on my side can score points. 5. Allies grab invulnerability and stand still. 6. I grab invulnerability. Enemy still kills me. 7. Every enemy has a 95% or more chance to kill you in one hit. A direct hit from me by a rocket to an enemies head often only does a sliver of damage. 8. Enemies have infinite ammo and will spam the best weapons. 9. It takes 4 land mines to kill an an enemy. 10. enemy seems to phase out of existence and my shot goes right through them. 11. Enemies use multiple abilities. ex. healing then using the shield dome. AND these are only a few upsetting things about this game. 1/5
Do you still experience monsters that can't be killed? Perhaps you are playing cached version. I fixed this bug 30 hours ago.
