Omg, finally. Played this game a long time ago, where I kept increasing the starting speed. My only goal was to unlock as high a starting speed as possible. Then I decided to get in the top ten at 1000. I succeeded. Many times. Then I started going for the first place. Made it after hours of trying.
This game is a lot about setting goals, and trying hard to reach that. I haven't had so much fun in a browser-based game in a long time.

This took quite some time to figure out, but god im glad i did.
When you get to the point where you have to defeat your clone, you should have one spike left. Jump to the other side of the pit. Whilst mid-air right above the pit, throw the spike. Doesent matter if it hits anything. This is beacuse when you throw a spike it freezes you in the air. Your "clone" cant throw spikes, and therefore doesent freeze. If you do this correctly, you should be able to kill it while saving yourself. This will give you the nice ending!
Survival? PFF!! Just get collectors on every inch of the map, and put up a hell of upgrades. (speed, reactors and storage.) Now COVER THOSE EMITTERS WITH BLASTERS AND MORTARS!!! :D Kept me alive for LONG
