Most of your stats count for the score, so you should do well if you level all your training stats. For cooking duels, Speed decreases prepare time (min 0.5 sec, max 2 sec for everything), Intelligence decreases Cooking time, Idea decreases Presentation time.
Intelligence affects how much experience you gain.
But you are right, I need to improve the tooltips and battle tutorial a bit.
It was not really a game but more like a story. I really like the dialogues a lot, especially when the guy went mental. I'd like some more riddles and thinking on the other hand. I'm gonna rate 5 and hope for more ;)
Click on the Conquest Arrow. Then Click on the red devil arrow. Then buy the middle "Toothed Glaive" for 10,000 Retribution points. Repeat later one for better weapons!
You are correct with checkpoints breaking the arcade spirit :) maybe something to consider - checkpoints as an option but when enabled there would be separate/no highscore
It's something to consider, currently you can have some health back everytime you level up, I'm quite sure that with some practice you can last a lot :) there's a small easter egg building around if you get far enough!
i made 3 MP wins in a row, after two I had to reload, one froze for really long and then counted as win. But now when I check, game only counted one of these three wins :(
i'm a big fan of TD games but somehow this didn't do the trick for me. progression seems rather slow, no upgrades, no skills, no achievs. laying the path is also not a new concept (but surely rarer than fixed path). doesnt make me come back
