For anyone who's having trouble with getting stuck in the clouds or infinite falling after breaking through the cake wall, go into your computer's advanced display settings and change the refresh rate of your monitor to 60hz. This will fix pretty much all of these issues. Just change it back to its normal refresh rate when you're done playing for the day.
