You took kingdom rush, and facebooked it. I'd have gave you a descent rating just on the basis of loving kingdom rush, but I hate paytoplay energy systems. I identify them early and run the other way.
Eh, I think you need to tone quetzels down just a smidge. I don't have the spell thats effective against quezels. I tried to buy it but I needed all the otherr spells first, once I bought them I could no longer afford it. Theres quetzels everywhere now roving in packs, and I can't kill them. They block all my sword damage, and their health regen is so powerful my spells can't break through it and I have them pinned against a wall while I sit and spam it at them. So the game feels mildly broken. I don't feel like going backi to try to find grass I missed so I can buy the spell I need to have a chance. And I can't really go on because I can't kill these things that are everywhere roaming in packs.
... hit 55 deaths, I have no idea where the first level ends but I'm already no longer even in the running for the first badge. You can remove the death count and I still would have given up on it. Just frustration in a box.
I guess vet bonus items got massively massively nerfed? I am vet level 11 and used to just kill everything, after my last reset it's like I'm back to no vet gear. It's been awhile since I've played, I must have missed something pretty major. I see the red icons, and it looks like the vet levels. However they used to grow in power massively... that +2 +.2 can't be my bonuses now? Wish I could go back to my game before I reset. D:
Unfortunately, vet items were causing an issue that would make it impossible for me to add additional content into the game without it just being blown through. To resolve this, I took the items out and added the percentage bonuses instead. While it does indeed nerf you pretty hard, you don't have to use the same boring vet item all the time now. You can continue your search for the perfect items.
I really like your shield mechanic, its fairly interesting the way that first chink in the armor makes all the differnce. I know it's been said many times. But the ability to remove the numbers and coins graphics would be pretty nice. Not only does it kill the performance... but I can't see the monsters anymore.
Disregard my earlier comment, it looks like it's just more geared towards the end game. Once 98% of the weapons crafted all have a 0.07 attack speed it all comes down to damage. And the wicked items just about always outperform the common now. Still waiting to see what these legendary swords are like. Good work with the game though!
Seems like a pretty nice game. But I'm a bit confused... half the time the common swords are better than the wicked. The damage is ussually ever so slightly higher on the wicked swords. But once you get a few upgrades behind your equipment the differnce of .1 seconds on a speed roll is 100x more significant than another couple thousand damage. The tiers seem almost pointless other than changing the border color. I haven't ran across a legendary sword yet... I'm hoping they are alot more impressive.
Another possible bug, when the space bar is held down I can't pinpoint when exactly it happens or what triggers it. But fairly often it causes the enchant to go to the maximum powered enchant available and continue to increment up as you learn more. Like just now I set it to enchant infinity +14, and I was holding the space bar to speed up selling off a few mail armors and I noticed the enchant was pretty sluggish because it had incremented all the way up to +21. This has probably happened 15 to 20 times now so it shouldn't be extremely hard to duplicate, but it doesn't always happen.
Sorry for the double comment, I'm a little slow sometimes... rather than a screenshot the game has an export feature... if it'd be handy I just exported the possibly bugged results. Just let me know if you would need it, I can PM it to you.
I may have found a bug... on my last reset copper, iron, steel, silver, gold, cessurite, chromite, galena, and cinnabar are all valued at the exact same amount. 167.9m at very cheap. I'm pretty sure that's not how it used to be. Also oddly enough copper through silver bars are worth exactly the same amount. After that the values start to increment upward like they should. As I forge equipment with it it seems to all increment normally. So maybe it's not a bug, maybe I just never paid attention to low level ore values until now. But just in case I'm just letting you know. If it helps I'm at ascension level 1.049g and I took a screenshot or two if you need them. I thought every ore value and bar value used to increment upwards.
Infinitium mail +3 of infinity +18... absolutely epic!! I love the modifiers idea at the end. So you don't have to keep coming up with more names, but at the same time I can keep farming up and moving on to stronger wares. Looking forward to crafting +100 / +1000 gear... also I'm assuming you have to write code for each increment of ore and enchanting even if it's mostly copy/paste. I'm sorta curious if I can ever reach "the end of the smithing world." :D
Looks like it could be a very good game. I like the whole axis and allies/risk style games. Hopefully at some point I can get permission to put silverlight on this machine.
It's a slick trailer I'll give you that. But when I see a promo video for a game with much of the opinion seemingly very negative towards the top of the leaderboards... I have to wonder if you can buy a rating level. I 1/5'd it just because it's not a game, though really it's the one thing on this site I was hoping to give a 0/5. 1/5 just seems vastly too generous for a youtube clip. :)
I find the later stages of the game you produce more ore than you can use... which isn't a bad problem to have, an 80% crit rate that produces 9 ores a peice followed by a smelt that has a 75% chance to crit and also produces 9 bars... my blacksmiths need more help! Though the 75% chance of a smith crit coupled with them turning out 4 suits of mail, soon to be 5. Endgame is pretty crazy! If this is endgame? I'm on diamond, theres still plenty of ores left to go through!
Well... this is about as idle a game as I've seen. Staring at a green screen. I have access to a button that I can't afford. Yep... idle like watching the grass grow... Idunno if it was that calming for me though like in the description. :p
