So yeah ... after some time, you have all the cars (or at least all the ones you want) ... what's left to do, if no new tracks are added to the game? I can't even try to beat my all-time-best on the old tracks because the all-time-bests aren't stored anywhere.
So I realised two things today. One, there is RNG involved. Going full speed at the start, in the first bend the car swerves to the right lane 80% of the time and to the middle lane 20% of the time. So we are not imagining things when during a race we think, "wait, what? This usually works!" ... and I also realised that the number of tracks is limited. I thought they were computer-generated. Too bad.
Umm ... what is happening? I had not played in a while. Yesterday, I took an old saved game and completed lvl 14. Today, that progress is gone. That has never before happened to me.
The game pretends to be about balancing three commodities, but there is really only one - happiness, since happiness generates population every day, and population can be "sold" to generate gold. Kinda boring.
There is a line running from the top left corner to the bottom right corner of the screen, and everything below that line is smeared. Weirdest glitch ever. What to do?
Ok, trying to do the third mission at level 6, getting clobbered in the second room again and again and again. Do it at level 7, same weapons, no danger at all. Equipment and skill are secondary, level is what counts; that's lame.
