Badge Guide: Day 1 - Max out Trans+Engine+Tires and spend the rest on fuel. Hold down the Only take your foot off the accelerator if you're going to be off the ground for more than about half a second. Try and keep your wheels parallel to the ground. You should get around 730 ft. Day 2 - Max out fuel, get the autogun and as much ammunition as you can afford. Do the same as before. When you reach the final hill, it's broken into three slopes. You should be able to get part way up the third. If not, restart and try again. Day 3 - Put everything into Boost. Do the same as the previous day, and when you hit the the third slope of the hill, hold boost and fly over the barrels. Don't bother voting up, just repost. Credit for this goes to razzfallow, this is how I got the hard badge.
Two questions - 1) is the Darkmoon Fair just for fun, or can I get back to Stranglethorn from there somehow? --- and 2) You uploaded the game again because you will soon give us the next part, right? Right?! RIGHT????!!!
As weird as it sounds, but chaotikalkid is not lying. If you take the portal and watch the end credits, then load a saved game, you will get to the Darkmoon Fair. --- Since you know these things, what about the thief in Stranglethorne? I saw him once, but did get to fight him or talk to him. And I also got to fight a Harpy once, but she fled. What is up with those to encounters?
I see magicandy's point, but I disagree: yes, this level pack has all the features that made CT1 a fun game, but it also has all the flaws. This game has a lot of potential, but it is far from being good. There is no strategy involved: just build and upgrade your towers. The end. That's not good enough.
The game has been around for years now and is still incomplete. At first I gave it 4/5, because it looked like a decent HOMM-online-flash-version. But since they do not fix any of the problems, I now think that even 1/5 is way too generous - how do I vote 0/5?
"(Note: This is not a full-on sequel but instead a level pack, with a set of brand new levels and a number of improvements and bug fixes.)" - So what does that mean? Does it mean that you are busy working on the sequel, and just wanted to give us a little something to pass the time? In that case, 5/5. But if you aren't working on a sequel: 1/5.
