The upper text is cut off in both Firefox and Chrome. I just submitted a bug report for it. For those who want to see it, you can click the blue button in the lower right to set it to fullscreen. As for the game itself, very interesting way of conveying the meaning of the story, and very nice artwork!

Thanks for the kind words and for reporting the bug! I'm looking into a fix for it right now, but I still highly recommend playing the game in full screen mode anyway! Will post an update when it's sorted out. EDIT: Fixed! Let me know if you have any other issues!

For those confused, one of the codes doesn't quite work. The "7" is actually one of the "5"s instead. That should make sense if you're figured out what to do but can't get farther, and it shouldn't spoil anything.

Strange, the game reliably freezes every time either the human or the zombie touches spikes on level 3 while using Firefox. It's not the browser freezing, but the game itself. I can type this comment on the same page, but no button on the keyboard does anything within the game. The game seems to work fine in Chrome.

Developer response from jronn

Thanks for letting me know, really appreciate it! issue should be fixed now. Seems like firefox was unable to decode a particular audio file that played when someone came in contact with the spikes.

Nice twist on the classic game that's easy for younger audiences to understand! Is it intended that the pieces are affected by gravity once neighboring pieces are removed, or was that a happy accident? It's an interesting difference from the regular game that requires a bit of a different strategy when playing. The "Next level" button leads to level select instead. It would be nice if that button worked as intended, but one extra click per level isn't too much of a hindrance. I notice that you win if you finish with a pair stacked on the other one, even if you have a stack of four with no way to click the ones underneath. In the traditional game this would be a loss, but if you're targeting a younger audience this would be a good method to ease them into the game. It would also be interesting to see new animals show up as you get a few levels in to switch up the scenery and make puzzles gradually more complicated.

At full upgrades, you can technically go on forever by waiting until you lose forward momentum and then using a boost to get a little farther. You can even stop completely until the armadillo starts bouncing, and then time a boost just right at the top of your jump to start gaining speed again. I'm not saying this as a criticism, mind you, just something interesting you can do even after getting all of the badges!

The fact that you can outright refuse to play this game after starting it up, and not only win, but also get the medium badge amuses me to no end. This also makes the easy badge far harder than the medium.

The Ks definitely don't show up as often with slower computers. I played this game for nearly three hours before finally getting the challenge, and when I did, it barely peaked over 53 Ks. Every single other time I was lucky if I got to 25 Ks before 20 seconds were left. I'd like to say if you have a slow computer just have patience, but there's only about an hour left of the challenge. Oh well; Happy April Fool's!

This is a really good 'spot the differences' type game! Does the music remind anyone else of Edward Scissorhands?

I wouldn't call this a bad game; it has a nice concept and is reminiscent of other dice games (particularly Yahtzee, of course). The game relies far too heavily on luck, however. Some of the achievements are impossible without luck and long hours thanks to chaos theory and human error.

I wouldn't quite call the game hard, but it is rather tedious having to do the whole level over again. It's more along the lines of Nintendo Hard (look it up), but everything is highly doable. I did almost go crazy getting the impossible badge, though.
