i think i saw a bug.. the highlight in the command buttons only go to attack and hold position it never goes to patrol or fall back when you press them...
Tips:
When your on garrison mode your people will turn into archers.
Collect as meany troops as you can before making an attack.
Only buy 5 miners.

PVP would be nice but you need servers for matchmaking as well as all the matchmaking features. I will look into GameCenter to support matchmaking on iOS in on of the later updates ;).
