The game froze when I was in last place in the bath with the first car and no upgrades and the first place car just finished the race. Mine says "lap2/3". Maybe you'll want to find out why and fix it. Love the game, especially the controlls. the music is still playing and the pause button still has interaction like sound but doesn't do anything if that helps.
Did you (or any other opponent) perhaps fire a missile? We keep getting reports that the game crashes under similar circumstances but so far were not able to reproduce that on our machines. And if you can't repro, it's really difficult to get it fixed...
