Winning the hard badge is about luck and moving quickly in the early game. The most important things to get quickly are: a hospital, housing and large farms. And it's more important to have a high population than enough farms because you can always scavenge for food while you're expanding. Schools are pointless for most of the game as you can train soldiers from blank units just be putting them on guard duty. Also, the difficulty increases incrementally. So, if you're losing ground and people before you have victory conditions in sight: it's probably best to just start over.
Some many bugs. My favorite is the one where the game stops working if an enemy dies from a secondary effect (like Merlin's shock). It's especially fun when it happens in a boss battle and you can't restart to try again. Just have to give up the entire attempt.
The hardest thing about the impossible badge is how glitchy the game gets when it starts moving quickly. I fall through floors, fly through walls and nothing works the way it should.
Dev 1: Why don't we let players borrow heroes from fellow players in their guilds? // Dev 2: Sounds good. How should we organize it? By hero type? Hero power level? // Dev 1: Nah. Just sort it randomly so players have to scroll through every hero before selecting.
How am I supposed to have a chance in Sky Arena when my opponent is 4 levels above me with a p2w team whose 5 members have a combined total greater than my top 8 heroes combined?
Lots of little frustrating things like removing the wax from the dripping stalactite can't be done with the pickax or the knife. It can only be done with the right most one. Which is extra frustrating as the illustration and later game play has you use the ax to do it.
Fun older game that doesn't really hold up outside it's era. Lots of little annoying things like including the hair in the hitbox which makes controlling the snail shell more difficult than it needs to be. For the best playing experience avoid the hard badge.
3 starred all the levels: 18 is a bit dumb because you can accidentally complete the level too early if enter the first bubble with a certain amount of momentum. Took me a few tries to get it right so I could finish it with completely. The levels with multiple arenas need better controls for going up/down. Clicking on the holes is annoying when the pause/reset button is over them or you accidentally pop the bubble of your insect floating up through the hole.
This is an idle game that makes idle gameplay feel useless and active gameplay boring. Programming and art wise: I have no complaints. It's just not fun and advancing/getting cool stuff doesn't feel rewarding. Getting epic or mythic gear doesn't matter when you're mainly just sending people to do the same 'small' quests every 20 seconds because that's the best way to advance.
Well crap- thanks for the head's up. I'll work on getting a fix up.
