equping items should show change in stats, also mage's armo gives no armor bonus and just 4 willpower, 5% critical, 3% more damage etc, cant really tell which one is better
Impossible. All was custom created in Photoshop. Sure, weapons/armor were influenced by existing styles, but it's all hand made :) Maybe you saw a screenshot I posted when looking for beta testers?
contary to what the #1 comment says, max your speed not power, your axeman might seem to be attack as fast rougue because there's an upper limit in the animation of about 2 atk/sec, however with higher speed, enemies will attack much slower. if you have 5 times the speed as enemy you'll attack 5 times before enemy attack once, final boss has 12k+ speed, if you dont have high speed yourself you wont know what hit you and your abilities cooldown will take forever. with higher speed you essentially slows down the action to manageable
save load make impossible a walk in the part, the danger % dont really matter, if zombies attack a particular night they will always attack and vice versa
could use an interface improvement, playing a impossible huge map and by the end its a pain to scroll through the survivors (the scroll bar is very buggy it make it hard to micro-manage. the list jump around making it hard to find find people with particular skill values say 2 builder that are both not skill 10 but add up to 11 so they can reclaim in one turn) also equipments becomes really hard to manage
from level 12 on wards fully upgraded death bringers + mines is the way to go. use 4-5 mines to take out anti-air first, try to get 2 anti-air with one mine, then drop all death bringers in the corner and let rip.
10 gold mine 1 dark merchant, insta gold cards like gold purse or drawven mine 3 skelly warrior 6 fresh skelly a siege weapon (-10 portal lfe).
guarateed lots of mine at the start, and maybe even +150 insta boost to play 3~4 mines immediately
def early with few fresh skellys then rush all your skellys after 800 gold always a quick win
simply have at least 100 ice resist and the annoying blue charging guys will do 0 dmg to you
after that its piece of cake, gets boring after lvl 20 or so, no more new enemies every lvl was basically the same and gets easier and easier
i got to around lvl50 and was one hit killing every single enemy
the rotating hex board mechanic is amazing!
and the uniqueness of the units are great and there are so much potential for additions, like units that can move past allies, fire past allies, laser damage all in straight line, chain lightning jumps, different kind of auras, units that counter attack, armor values... seriously there is so much potential
you can activate the L attack by quickly pressing down then up the J attack, which is what was in the original games a supposed combo special move, allowing 1 key activate make the game way too easy by spamming it. if anyone looking for challenge you can ignore the L key and only activate the special attack by using the combo instead make the game much more challenging and enjoyable.
Another thing is it would be great if you could add for example a background color to a currently equipped item if the character has mastered all the items abilities, and when you over an item it shows mastery for all characters in party instead of only the currently selected character.
