Would be helpful to see the top score of each level. For instance, I've completed level 5 a couple of times in 8:22. But have I achieved perfection? Or could I do it still faster?
Bug: music doesn't pause when game pauses, when you click outside of the screen. Needs a mute button. Otherwise, very good game! Would like it if it was a) longer, and b) if choosing different paths resulted in different levels, not just a different end message.
By the end of the game, everyones hitpoints are so high that the only way to get a gold is to make every shot kill (and for some levels, kill more then one). As a result, there is no overkill... only fire at will and pause to reload!
You're wearing shorts and a vest. HOW, exactly, is your vacation ruined from the lack of an ironing board? Can't get that crisp crease in your hotpants? :p
Good game, right up until level 21. Level 21 is NOT about puzzle solving - the solution is straightforward and easy to figure out, but really really hard to actually execute. So - puzzle parts are generally too easy, and level 21 requires too much precision.
3/5. Would be 5/5, except for two things: 1, no explanations are given for anything. Easy enough to figure out, but I sense there's a lot of depth to it I'm not getting. 2, it can be a little unpredictable - sometimes I miss a circle that I really expected to hit - it needs to be more consistent.
A skillfully constructed game, but not fun to play because the levels rely too much on guesswork - e.g. the first hard level - which portals link to which? Pure trial and error to figure it out. Not really a puzzle game.
You fixed the problem where soldiers refuse to run away when injured - great! It is now possible to save their lives :). However, there is another problem - specifically, they refuse to interact when threatened. So, if a soldier is being shot at or attacked, they won't loot, won't work on the car, won't heal or reload until the enemy is gone. Besides the obvious flaw, this also causes the problem where they run out of ammo, but are still being attacked, and can't reload until they are no longer in danger - so they walk to the ammo station, and just stand there until they die or someone else kills the enemy.
I've just realized why I like this game so much - the mechanics are identical to x-com: apocalypse! You should totally do a port of that to flash - you're already halfway there!
You might think this game deserves 5 stars - I did too, until I noticed that, when confronted with an attacking zombie, your marines become unable to move! This means that there is no way to escape them - once a zombie touches you, you either kill it or die. No ability to run away, or even back off - I've lost more then one valuable teammate because I didn't notice the zombie getting close until it was too late - he touched me, and that's it, man down. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE change it so that I can order marines to ignore the zombie menace - or at the least, when they get to low health let them automatically leave to regain it and not wait around until they die! Also, a visible line of sight would be great - maybe a coloured shadow over the areas a marine can see/shoot, because otherwise it is easy to get in a position that blocks line of sight.
Yes, we will update the marines A.I today, i am sorry for the inconvenience. If you fell like to much stuff is going on press pause , in the pause we made a tbs sistem, you can give orders during pause mode and when you hit play the marines will execute them. Thank you for taking your time to write us a feedback
Good game, but one major problem really spoils it. I attack a city, lose 30 zombies. That's fine, because I have hundreds in my base just waiting to take their place, except.... before I attack the next city, I have to spend click that plus button 30 time to refill my zombies for the attack. Why can't it just restock my attack group from my spare zombies? Why must I manually click it? Why does holding down the button not make it go faster? It takes longer to prep for the attack, then for the attack to complete!
We updated the game with final version
