an advice: equip the biggest weapon you can find, use ring and amulet to boost MP and armor and boot to boost armor; don't care about anything else

what kind of material do you need in order to perform casing research, and where do you find it? because I already have item capacity and plating mark 4 and no optics, utility nor drill speed. (and I like a little bit more water please, I'm a thirsty man)
