Without a shadow of a doubt, the best flash game ever made. I enjoyed Chapter I. I loved Chapter II. Chapter III is just amazing. And I don't mean as a diversion, which is what most flash games are. I mean, when I'm in work, I'm thinking "Can't wait to get home and throw Mardek on". I have a PS3 which I haven't touched in a week cause I've been playing through the Mardek series. It just has so much going for it; interesting characters, a terrific storyline, good controls, simple interface, well thought out puzzles, great locations, and DEPTH. That's the key right there. This is a game set in a bona fide world - the depth to the story, the places and the location is amazing. But there's so much more to it. The humour is some of the best video game humour I've ever seen. There must have been at least 10 laugh out loud moments (my favourite was probably the "bukkake fun" comment by the miner).
Good concept but the execution is very poor. I've lost count of the amount of times I've been trapped behind a wall or have to make an impossible jump but I can't because of the character I am at that particular time. If you could fix that problem, then 5/5. As it stands, 2/5.
There are a few glithces, but the fundamental concept and game mechanics are sound. Very well put together, and a great concept, I've seen something quite like this before, so kudos for originality. All in all, very impressive work. Well, I'm impressed anyway. 5/5...no, wait, this is Kongregate isn't it? Right, awesome game. 1/5!
Okay. I'm on 88,000 fame, and some jackass with over 300,000 fame has decided to raid my castle six times now. Doesn't it strike anyone else as prettyy ridiculous that any player, no matter how highly ranked can attack any other player, no matter how lowly ranked??? I mean, I'm only playing this God awful game for the badges, but getting to 1,000,000 army isn't going to be easy when some smuck keeps wiping out my entire army. There should be limits on who can attack whom, like in the arena, it should be graded. This guy is doing nothing wrong by the rules of the game, but he's destroying what little enjoyment I was getting from it.
You know usually, when you ask people to pay for something it, you know, WORKS, which is more than can be said for this game. I just bought myself a few buffs and scrolls and whatnot to have a particular battle. When I arrived to have that battle, the game decided it wasn't going to let me see it. Everytime I tried to join it, I just kept getting "Loading infinity". So I got my ass kicked and lost some money. Kudos to the developers and Kongregate. This piece of crap shouldn't be alive.
The level bug has nothing to do with antivirus software. I've tried it on 3 computers and on three browsers on each computer and the same thing on everything. I've completely disabled my antivirus, and the same thing. That is one hell of a serious bug.
