I would have happily skipped 80% of the upgrade options for a magnet upgrade. Especially in the conditions of a hard, almost annoying, character movement controls.
I'm done with upgrading Amount, Cooldown and some Growth... and I start wondering if there's any point of continue playing. Seriously, what's the point? Score? I feel like we are back in the 80's where the whole point of arcade games where score - with a visual upgrade nowadays, true. But that almost cost the game industry to become a extinct - if not for Donkey Kong.
Is it really that hard to make a game with levels, with organic upgrade, with boss levels, with a good story, with excitement, with fun? Who is producing this things - did they every played games for fun in their life, to have a comparison? I dare any of the creators of this game to play it for three hours straight, and to tell me how they feel after that. Still fresh and enthusiastic, or feeling drained like a funny zombie?
The levels that seem to be missing are available just in the app version. There's no real missing ones. This version of the game, seems to miss though an announcement notice on the main page of the game, saying exactly this and linking towards the app.
Ok, tricky enemy formation. But why are they pretty much invincible? When they attach in circle waves, with the stamina bar also activated it's a death sentence early on in the game. Double or triple their health at max, but they should be killable.
Finally, after 50 daths or so, I've won. twice in a row, with different characters! yeay! But... i don't know, the final level was not so impressive (maybe the expectations where high waiting 50 times/daths in a row to reach it?) you fought all that much for a flower vase? (or holy grail - whatever) Maybe you'll think to add some big bosses or something in the final version to spice it up. But anyway, great job, it's so enjoyable, basicly there's not going to be one game like another, so it's perfect for playin over and over again.
I was playing with the barbarian and the power strike countdown got stuck at 6 turns left. I needed it. I died. Well, that's life. It's not the first time the the cooldown get stuck though. But the main concern for every character is finding meat. You might reach even floor 5 and still no furtune weel or random meat. That's very annoying. I know, if you would go down into a dungeon in real life food would be a problem. But as well as in real life, if you're hungry you could as well eat all the rats and jaguars and spiders you kill... that's some first thing that need to be balanced in the final version.
Barbarians work differently than other classes, his cooldowns are only decreased when you kill an enemy based on your current rage level. So if you have built up to 5 rage and kill an enemy, all cooldowns get -5. Food is guaranteed on every 4th floor and the merchant is guaranteed to always have food.
Ok, so I'm playing this for some time now and i still couldn't figure it out how does the 5 star police helicopter is tying to stop me? I mean, he aims at me with some Tesla energy beam that does... nothing? I mean is not like I'm losing control for a few second over the car or anything. So except for being visually annoying, what is the helicopter supposed to do?
The game can not be saved due third-party browser extensions like AdBlock or NoScript. Try to disable them. You can use gems to buy power ups and some cars.
"plague bearer" card should make all cards loose 2 shields when ruined. Instead loose 2 shields card automatically when placed in the deck. It's very annoying.
one more thing. DON'T take the "CHARGE" skill. Is specially annoying in the big group fights. It advances you in the middle of the enemy, and because you are surrounded and hit from multiple directions, you can't move and die easily. Without it, you let the enemy face you just from one side and you can easily eliminate large groups.
Some advices.
For more money:
1. specially useful in the first missions. Blow up the barrels (preferably with a bow, you know why), gives you 50$ per blow. This way sometimes you can collect more money then from all the killings in the mission.
2. destroy the money chest after taking the money - 50$
3. when you have the poison, kill the poisoned enemy - gives you double money amount. Specially useful for the trolls. If killed with your first sword (130% per kill) trolls give you around 300$ per kill.
For long range:
hold your cursor not directly on the enemy but far behind him - this way the arrow will pierce through multiple enemies.
