It's a decent enough game. There isn't much variation. Perhaps if you could gain points for having lengths of color strips left over? Or perhaps a challenge where you have limited moves. Still fun for 18 levels or so!
The grind is real. Fun game, but after grinding for an upgrade which seemingly did nothing, it makes me reluctant to spend cash for a possible lemon. The grind also puts me off playing with different weapon styles as it could take weeks (or big bucks) to make it worthwhile trying a different weapon style.
The math for the energy points is often wrong...For example, the computer has 7 energy points, but lays cards worth 9 and then buffs one with another card worth 2 for a total of 11 points.
Conversely, I'll have 9, lay a card for 5 and then only have 3 left. The system is blatantly developed to cheat the player.
Hi! That really sounds improvable, bear in mind that there are some cards that have different Energy points cost, also there are some others that affect the maximum amount of energy limit that you have, or also reduce it. Could that be happening? If you are certain that it's a bug, please tell us the name of the card or the stage where you saw the AI doing that and we will review it. Thanks!
Seems like I'm at an impasse with this game.
I can't get past level 51
I'm playing through the earlier levels on Hard but you don't get any new cards (Loot Box Empty) and you don't earn enough gold to save up for the basic loot box.
I don't have enough decent cards to auction any off, nor can I afford to buy anything from auction since I don't have the tokens.
I can't play PvP as I'm only matched against players 4-5 times my level.
So with no further way to earn in-game and no way to proceed I guess it's "game-over"
This game is too grindy for me and too repetitive even as a TCG.
Also, the fact that you can earn rare or halfway decent cards early on but not actually use them until much later seems very counter-intuitive for someone trying to build a base deck.
2/5.
Hi bgkbgk86, I checked Stage 51 on Easy and it has almost a 50% win-ratio, which is quite high to be honest! Perhaps you were using the wrong deck for this one, bear in mind that some stages are designed to force you switch decks! Anyways, I just checked your account and can see you are already passed that Stage on a higher one so, I guess you managed to go on! Thanks for your time and if you change your mind and decide to change your rating we'd be grateful!
Neat game. Gets exciting when you have like 50 balls. It also gets boring when you have like 50 balls. Bonus points systems, upgrades or powerups would make the game interesting.
I completed the last level in 5 moves, bonus level perhaps? I do enjoy the game, but the mechanics and placement is almost exactly the same level to level. I know this is just "my problem" but it's still hard for me to differentiate between that shade of red and orange.
Meh! 3/*5 for unresponsiveness, the fact that you can't hit multiple enemies at once, the painfully slow progression/ shop prices and the mediocre visuals.
Really cool game. I enjoy that it has different elements, rotate, buttons, color coordination etc. For me it was really fresh and exciting. 5/5. More please!!
Really cool game. The only two things I don't care for are;
1. I would prefer to scroll the map by grabbing and dragging with the cursor.
2. I wish all the bombs detonated simultaneously, rather than in succession.
Other than that, 5/5.
I know so many people have already said it, but I would enjoy the game more if you either a) kept your cash up until dying on a level or b) could replay previous levels at any time. Ship upgrades would also add a fun layer, such as money magnets, speed, shield etc. 3/5 as is. Would be 5/5 with those suggested changes.
Wanted to give the game a 5 for the simplicity, the challenge and the thoughtful game play. Rated a 3 at this time because a game that relies mostly on accuracy and responsiveness needs equally sharp controls. And they're not sharp. They are clunky and the "turn and jump maneuver" whilst running straight detracts from the game. Excited to see where this goes. The wall jumps also seem directionless, and considering how integral they are to the game, they should be controlled more precisely by the player.
