Anyone else who experienced a glitch in the last garden level (the one with the clover)? It happened to me that the enemies from the lower start point were able to pass right through the plants when returning to their start point, making it impossible for me to save the flag. :(
But besides this annoyance, I really like the game.
Very great game, but the controls should be customable. I messed up so often because I pressed the wrong button. In my opinion, if you want three adjacent keys for controls, it should have been J for jump, L for lift and K (as it is inbetween) for switching layers. But I like it nevertheless. 5/5
I basically like all those pixel-games as they give me a nostalgic feeling and it´s the same with this game. But the character is moving a bit too slow and it gets frustrating quickly, especially when you have to lead a butterfly and have to get all the way back after making a mistake a few pixel before the destination... But I like it anyhow. 3.5/5
It really drives you nuts when listening to the boss... and then the relief when clicking on the different possibilities and watching him getting beaten up. And finally the calm womans voice repeating the mantra. Absolutely brilliant. 5/5.
@Seiena: strides, steps and paces all mean one tile, but you don´t even have to read the secret treasure location plan as there is always a parrot walking on the tile where the treasure is buried. Maybe you have to click on the flute (which you can find in the first level) on the screen with Cap´n Goldgrubber. I noticed the parrots quite late so they might not have been there from the beginning but now they always are.
I really don´t know what you guys are complaining about bugs with the special attack disappearing after use. Of course it disappears as the game would be too easy if you had infinite special attacks. And of course you cannot upgrade it. It is an attack that destroys all balloons on screen, how is this supposed to be upgraded? This is no bug. It is meant to be a one-timer and you have to pay more for every further special attack.
I´ll rate this 4/5, because I think with it´s function not to shift from positive to negative, but between two different layers and the ability to rotate the room, it is different enough from shift. The graphics are quite good and I like the music also. The only thing I dislike are - like in many other games - the controls. European keyboards have the X next to Y, not Z, so you have to hold your hand in a quite unconfortable position. Why can´t you use J and K or M and N or something like that so you can move with one hand (using WASD) and rotate with the other?
I don´t know why so many people seem to have problems with this game. On my pc, it runs without any glitches. And I was able to finish it - after I found out that you mustn´t use the boost in one but in stages. Absurd game, but really fun. 4/5
Well, although you don´t really need to know what is written there as this game is simple enough, strychnon is right. If you post a game on an english site, the texts should be in english, too (at least as a second option in the main menu). The game itself is not bad, but gets boring really quick (only one usefull weapon and that one has infinite ammo, stupid enemies) and I got stuck in level 2 already when there was a rock spur I couldn´t jump on. 2.5/5
And this time, as there could be nothing done wrong with this game, you´ve done well. But again, it´s nothing special. At least a mulitplayer-option would have been nice. 3.5/5.
And again, it´s not a bad game. But this time, the screen is just too small to place accurate shots. Therefore it gets too hard. And it gets boring really quick. 2.5/5
I totally agree with drstark. Indeed it was a hard start and I was about to quit and rate it 1/5, but when you get the hang out of it, it gets really interesting. But there´s a lot of luck involved if your planning is victorious or not. And I think the medal-scores are too high. I got a total score of 706 after winning agaist the icebear and you need to get 1500 within ONE level? You will have to finish with a 23 on top or something like that to archieve such a score... Nevertheless - I like it. And it supports german language... :P 3.5/5.
Seeing the previous comments which got a lot of +, you seem to have solved all the problems they complained about as I noticed none of them when playing this game. It runs absolutely smooth. And I like it a lot. I just love those puzzle games. 5/5
