Super annoying "Soundtrack" (especially the 5-second-loop while racing), barely nice graphic, not enough items (only bombs, coins and those annoying signs - often placed directly before a bomb). The only thing I liked about this game was the truck image on the main screen which you can wiggle with your cursor... 2/5
It´s very annoying that the shop symbol only appears a few seconds. Often I just reacted too slow or I wanted to wait for the reinforcement crate to land (because its gone when you enter the shop before it lands). It´s also annoying that you always have to start from the beginning. maybe you could add a story mode to it/the next title? Or at least rewards for the archievements you earn during the battle, that are saved for every future battle. Also, auto-turrets could be a good add for the shop. If you change/add some of these points, this game could be deserving 4/5, maybe even 5/5, but right now its only a weak 3/5.
Despite the fact that this is stolen, this game is nice, but there seem to be some bugs. I get colours for the cannon which I have already erased and the balls don´t always roll backwards when I destroy some in the middle and therefore preventing combos.
Obviously, this game is made for kids only. But I guess they could have some fun with the cute design and the feeling of success when they pick the right ones.
You should at least add a helping line showing the direction of the "white" ball. Or inverse the controll so that you shoot in the direction the cursor is pointing to. This way, it is just too hard to place an accurate shot. 2.5/5 (but with some potential)
I liked it a lot. And I absolutely disagree with Ruudiluca. Neither was it too long (47 levels are too much for you??), nor was it too easy (ok, some levels where very easy, but there are very challenging ones, too). I think this is a perfect game to kill some time. 4/5
this is impossible as long as you haven´t completely upgraded the ships in the first level like xyern explained. regardless, level 7 took me 3 years and 4 month already because of those force shields - they are WAY too strong. and yes derangedkitsune, there was already another game like this here but i can´t remember its name either. so this game needs serious improvement, but then it could become a very good one.
similar to music catch with the difference that this one is not that well designed and - although it has more initial songs - it misses the feature to play to your own music. but it´s still a good game as the gameplay is addictive.
And 66 triangles in the fourth... you can make 3 triangles out of every half pike (>3*12=36), 3 out of every second half pike (>3*6=18), and 2 out of every full pike (>2*6=12). 36+18+12=66. correct me if i´m wrong...
@shartattack: just select the bastion and click on the button 'rotate bastion'. you can do this before or after placing a cannon on it. if you have no cannon placed, you can tell the direction the bastion is facing to by the two additonal "sandbags" at the front corners.
so now give it another try, because this game is really fun.
Really like the whole Battalion-series, reminds me of the fighting system of great RPG-games like Shining Force (SegaMD2), Vandal Hearts (PS1) or Disgaea (PS2/3). For the next title, you could thing about adding some features of these games like support from adjacent units to the attacker like in Disgaea or to the attacked unit like in Vandal Hearts as well as boni for attacking from the side/from behind (at least I haven´t noticed boni for that so far). And a last thing could be in-game awards that boosts the stats of the units like in Master of Fortress (great game here on Kongregate).
But still, this game is great. 5/5
