I actually hoped this game would be a Kingdom Rush clone, as I had a lot of fun with it, but sadly, it has nothing to do with it other than map and menu designs. It's just an average side-scroller that doesn't bring anything new to the genre, maybe except very poorly drawn art, that, I'm guessing, was supposed to resemble the cartoonish look of characters in KR.
Yes, I do think all crucial in-game keys must be in tutorial. That is precisely what tutorials are for... You need to show the controls somewhere in the game, or at least in the Instructions section here, on Kong.
As I like the series, there is too much grinding for items and stats here and too little plot, too... Getting through the absurdly low success rates and farming for the ingredients to finally craft the last tier weapons takes tens of hours. And Archmage's dungeons are just too damn long... 10 floors without being able to save or restock is more boring than challenging
The camera is very annoying. How about some button that would center the view on the heroes? And some accuracy upgrades... I understand the blonde girl character is more realistic when she fails to shoot, but the brunette should've had the wits to read the instruction before using her gun.
you can use arrows to move camera, '1' to center on the first girl and '2' for the second. You didn't try it, right?) You thought that all ingame keys must be in tutorial?
Irasfel pretty much nailed it in their essay: too little damage, too many bugs (what they said, plus mobs blocking deployment of towers, making them stand halfway to their destination, and do nothing but receive damage), making the game boring and frustrating. Also, the "ultimate weapon" showed no difference to me whatsoever - it was just the same horrible heavy gattling with the same ridiculous accuracy. This game needs so much polish, it makes me think it's a beta version...
An original concept, but the real challenge in this game is not solving the puzzle itself, but moving the pieces with your mouse. In most levels the fact that the pieces were connected to one another caused less difficulty than finding the solution. Only level 16 actually showed the potential of your game, where the pattern of joints affected the solution more than in just a "oh, lukaddat, this fits there, that fits here, now just to move these around..." way. A pack of levels like that one would be much appreciated.
"...concerns, OR error reports..."; "...I (or IT?) will move THROUGH the game..."; "...every update, you will be able to get on the Leaderboard, but after the next update, you WON'T..."; "...In the MEANTIME, follow me..."; "I put a lot of points into hide last level... (this sentence doesn't make much sense to me, somehow)"; "Gods, I can't put up with this LOSER"; "But he will be back, UNFORTUNATELY, as..."; "...those of you who want a CHALLENGE". Hope it helps.
Thanks! Fixing it now... although, I probably won't continue it after this next update... which also probably won't get out today, sorry.
Oh, and the "I put a lot of points into hide last level..." was a D&D reference. Look up the 'hide' skill.
You should fix the spelling... There is a ton of mistakes for such a short game, if it can be called one. The concept of daily updates would be good if this project were interesting. As it is now, it's neither funny, nor curious. Just a bunch of horribly dry jokes...
The spawnrate of blocks should be editable by players - total of blocks moving through the bar being 100% and 0% being no blocks at all of specified by the player kind. And it could use mouse scrolling, arrow keys are slightly annoying.
The font of "hostile" words should be capitalized or changed, it's very hard to make out on smaller screens. The font of the log box is just undistinguishable. Also, you could add some highscores other than that on Twitter. An old idea for a game, but it's made well, except for the font problems.
It's not bad, but it's completely unpolished... It's extremely easy to just get cornered and watch your character bounce off the edge of the screen till it dies. Also, there's no list of special attacks, and the game is a little bugged (opponents appearing on the pre-match screen are not the ones you're fighting). And DB Universe-wise... Roshi hardly won as Jackie Chun (yeah, why he's here in that costume?) vs. Goku, why would he try his luck vs. Goku SSJ3? :p Put Goku vs Freezah or Brolly, it would make more sense :p
The one where you show the Polish flag, but Poland isn't the right answer and the second one was with Greenland, I think... Not sure.
Besides, the name is rather inadequate, as this quiz is only about flags and capitals.
Also, I played this game twice and got exactly the same questions, which would mean that there is no point whatsoever in replaying your quiz...
This game is ridiculously imbalanced... Most missions are so easy, they make the game boring and every few levels there is one that's almost unbeatable unless you resort to some really lame tactic like spamming three ranged units vs. one heavy, because you don't have any good anti-heavy units. I'm so tempted to give this game a 2/5 just for having been forced to retrying the fish things mission with the dual bladed assholes DOZENS of times...
Yeah, you are right, sorry for the not full tutorial.
