@ Mrlopertoper, are your "people" physical attack heroes or Magic attack heroes? The miss/hit rate of magic attack heroes depends on the heroes Intelligence. Try getting a suit with an intelligence bonus or try recasting items to get extra Intelligence.
@Zombolos, I've had stuff like that happen before, however not with this game. Basically it's a matter of waiting for the game/your computer/the internet to catch up to what you type. I'd recommend either typing slower, or double checking when you're making a name.

@massmurrder, Since you're obviously not going to listen to reason, this will be my last response. You are absolutely right, I don't like your comments, but I have no control over what other people think. if people don't like your comment, they will most likely rate it as bad, which is what has been happening. Also, if you will be so kind as to notice that DagonKin and I haven't been getting very high ratings either, that's because some people don't like OUR comments. Try not to be an immature child over being rated down, it isn't that big of a deal.
@massmurrder, did you ever stop to consider that DagonKin might be right? The fact is, you got to -7 because 7 people hit the - button. They simply didn't like your comment. And on top of that, you insult other players. I don't appreciate it, and not many others appreciate it either.
@DagonKin, I disagree. The devs won't necessarily botch any good idea that comes their way, they have in the past implemented some pretty good ideas. However, getting them to LISTEN and consider the idea is the hard part.
@massmurrder, Once the marketplace hits level 30, it gives you the Auction House (AH for short). In the Auction House you can buy and sell equipment with other players.
As DagonKin said, he most likely upgraded his marketplace to level 30 and started buying highly fortifyed equipment.
I am sorry I didn't get to finish my reply to massmurrder, I will finish with this.
#1, Use your head, THINK about things, and especially THINK of ways to solve your own problem BEFORE going to the devs and asking them to make the game easier because you can't figure out what you're supposed to do.
#2 If you've tried your best to find a way to solve your own problem, then go to In-game chat and ask somebody there, if nobody there knows an answer to your question, ask the question in a Kongregate chat room.
If STILL nobody knows it, THEN come to the devs with your problem.

I'm sorry bro, but I've given you several different ways to get rid of gold, you've found a way to disprove every one of them.
I'm out of ideas, so it's time for your to start using your head, and actually TRYING something other than complaining.
If an alliance won't accept you, make friends until somebody does accept you.
If can't find a way to get rid of gold, ask somebody in World Chat for some ideas on how to get rid of some.
You can FIND other ways to get what you need,
#1.
If you have an alliance you can donate to them to get rid of gold.
Also, if you find somebody in the Arena who wants gold, attack them, if you lose, you lose some gold (which is your goal).
Also, you could try fortifying something very expensive to get rid of gold. There are numerous ways of getting rid of gold.

You are given 100 Cash Gift at the beginning of the game, you're supposed to use those to replenish the "miner".
If you've already used up your 100 Cash Gift.... Well, I can only wish you good luck.

I would like to point out that the granary, dwellings and treasury have no direct impact on army strength, by upgrading the dwellings you get more gold from levying, by upgrading granary you upgrade your maximum capacity for food (food is what troops rely on).
I would suggest upgrading the blacksmith, upgrading the dragon training grounds, training heroes and fortifying items to make progress.
REALLY great game. PLEASE make a sequel.
I can find very few things that are inconveniences in this game, but one I did find was the "recruit minions" button has to be clicked many many many times to max out the minions. I suggest that in the sequel you allow the player to choose how many minions he wants to recruit in 1-2 clicks. Something like a Click-and-drag sliding bar. Slide the bar to the right, the number of minions goes up, slide it to the left, number goes down.
Other than that, it was a TOTALLY AWESOME GAME.
I gave it 5 stars and favorited it.
I would like to address some things which I have noticed over time.
The developers of this game will say "Thank you for your suggestion, we will consider it" and then they never do. I have seen probably hundreds of players suggest some incredibly good idea that never gets implemented. The developers won't put any effort into implementing any of the players suggestions. Usually when directly questioned about this, they use some excuse like "That particular idea would take too much time/effort to implement, when in reality it would take very little effort at all to implement it.
For those of you who think that your opinion might change something, here's my advice. Give it up, forget about it.

Yeah, they'll respond with a "Thanks for your suggestion, we'll consider this" but in real life, they won't.
Personally I think the snow is a neat effect, although it's a bit laggy and I think it would be better if there weren't so much of it.
Maybe a few snow flakes here and there would be better.
I enjoyed this game quite a bit, although there are a few things I'd like to point out. #1 the game is very very easy, I'm not a great game player or anything, but I beat it with ease.
#2 the campaign is extremely short, completion is attainable under 2 hours. #3 As I have before stated, I did enjoy the game quite a bit, however I would enjoy it much more if you would give more choices/options to the player. Example: being able to play as another character such as the undead/necromancers, trolls/orcs, etc, etc.
One last thing and my suggestions are over. #4 I don't know what the enemy troops are, I would suggest adding a mouse-over feature in battle which tells the player what type of enemy troops are being sent at him. (and maybe even tell him how his own troops are doing) This feature would be most enjoyable (or whatever).
