Fun game at first, but once you max out on stats early on and start to get frustrated over the unresponsive controls -- not to mention no incentive to go for 3 stars on a stage -- there's really no reason to keep playing.
The best is when you die just as one of those suicide bombers come running into the screen. You hear an extended "AAAAUUUGGHHH!" all during the continue/upgrade menu.
So basically the new updates made zombies stronger, making survivors more injury/"incapacitated" prone, while we get *hats*?
I spent the past few months having a blast building up to level 25 and I was concerned about my 2-week trip coming up, how that would affect the mood of the survivors.
Thankfully this new update made it easy for me to walk away from the game for good. Adios, TLS:DZ!
I had more than 12000 HPs on this one NPC in a regular fight. Almost lost, thanks to his Spectral Psy Beam Combo. What's the point in building up your HPs when the damage is based on percentages?
I was all, "this game is GREAT, no Pay to Continue!" ... until I hit the toll booth in the Northern Desert that charges 100 tokens to access the rest of the game.
Is there a way around this? Apologies if this has been brought up, I looked around and didn't see any mention of it.
If there are no ways around it, I guess I hit the end of my road. Still a fun game.
What separates this game from all the other games is the PURELY intuitive gameplay. I really appreciated that you thought about the gamer when developing this. 5/5.
I'll just create a game called "Guess what number I'm thinking of?" and you can sit there and try and use logic to guess. But eventually you'll realize that the correct answer doesn't necessarily follow a specific logic but that you just have to mold your brain exactly like mine and you are rewarded with a false sense of accomplishment for conforming to the way I think.
read description. use "CONTINUE" instead of "SELECT LEVEL".
