Buy energy drinks to regain energy.
Focus on training. Use the 1 heart yellow mode to finish match if needed. Energy drinks should not be needed, only to get training. When you can afford a drink, you should be able to train, (train), drink, train, play. Get those skills up. Buy shoes, and notice the list can scroll (40 weeks are best).
Ignore girlfriends, only focus on team. Once you get "rich", buy property to regain more energy. Once filthy rich, buy the rest...
There seems to be a safeguard towards wasted skill drinks if skill is 60. But this should be the "true" skill, not the skill+boost. My 57 power skill can't be boosted if I have boots on.
Fun, but it may benefit from addition of game modes. Now it is a puzzle to survive, but no purpose apart from that. There is a score I never look at, though.
One little thing. I play this in chrome with multiple other tabs active. If I use ESC to pause, I get this little "meeps" on mouse over of the different choices. It would be nice if this sound does not trigger unless I have the tab with the game active. Now it gives random meeps while browsing other tabs.

First level gold was easy once I saw the requirement and realized I did not have to conquer the world...
Just make sure you advance one forward each turn. Split your early effort with top priority to go one step closer to Australia, and secondary to get European bonus. I split 3 - 2, got the advance into Asia on first try, and used two turns to complete the bonus.
So, either the game is bugged, or it is far too complex for me to play. Run, jump, die, be told of a few skillpoints gained, be stuck with a nasty sound. Options? Pause and mute (thanks for mute). From pause, go back to stuck or go to menu which seems to reset all but any achievement gained.
From info and comments, I guess some debugging is needed.
Hm. Badge says: "Infinite level with 90+ difficulty completed". Well, I am pretty sure I got it after completing a 89 difficulty that bumped the next difficulty level to 92... Major bug :-)

Lighting the light to change color in order for conditionals to work? Now that was intuitive...
Good thing there are walkthroughs out there. One should not really need them to do the first level. So far the issue has not been in solving the puzzles, but getting the silly robot to work.
A kill is killing a monster with the kitty. I completed the badge after lots and lots of deaths. It should be called "eternal patience". Great game, I am just happy the hard badge was not time based ;-)
A couple of weaknesses with the badge-recognition from and old save.
50 stars not recognized unless you earn another star. Luckily I had not maxed the missions.
1948 achievement not recognized even if you already got 4 stars on it. You have to replay.
In a perfect world it should be easy enough to read these from the save, as they are published on the screen.
Brilliant game though, badges or not.
Level 2-4 is quite possible to two-star. Removing all pre-placed blocks and leaving a host of those you add.
Try building an unstable tower on one of the sides, then tilting it to topple the starting structure. Circle goes over edge and glass blocks shatters.
Fun, short, and annoying with hints being selected by default.
It would be better if a hint button needed pressing to give a hint. It could blink or whatever to make itself visible when you mess up.
Like the first one, the game becomes easier as you raise in levels. Standing at a lvl 42 required guardian gate while being level 36 is disheartening. Normal battles are the same routine. They have been no challenge for quite a while, and are thus rather boring. Challenges were had early on, but not anymore. Doing challenge modes does not tempt me either :(
Grinding for level is not fun in RPGs nor in Gemcraft, which is an otherwise fine game. 4/5.
But at least it works for me :-)
