For those of you who find the game too hard, here's a neat trick: Do the "Go Searching" Inn option for all your AP. Save after every GOOD event. If you get a bad event, DO NOT PRESS CONTINUE, refresh the game. The spent AP will be there, so long as you saved just before spending it.
XD
Awesome, but:
Costs are way, way too restrictive. Also, would be nice if we could upgrade existing buildings as well
All in all, costs are the only bad thing about this game. They make in frustrating, not challenging.
Oh LAWL, what a bug:
If you have two heavily damaged soldiers your medic will go from one to the other whenever one passes the other in terms of health... Kinda anoying.
Great game, hope you keep updating!
OK, so first off, great game, loads of fun, but it´s crippled by the fact that what you need to infect Madagascar is PURE LUCK. I´ve so far followed Pieman560´s strategy to the letter 3 times, and in those 3 times the ONLY place I could´nt infect was Madagascar. To me the problem seems to be the fact that few ships ever visit it regardless of the World´s status. Possibly could be fixed by adding an airport (since it states for some reason that Madagascar HAS an airport, just... not implimented?). Again, I say Pieman560´s strat is the BEST, but... Bloody Madagascar...
Big, BIG issue here:
The game has huge over-reliance on luck. Let me explain; when an enemy can drop you in one turn because of a lucky critical PLUS a luck poisoning, well, all context of tactics flies right out the window. So far, virtually all my losses (and victories, mind you) are purely based on getting extremely lucky on one of the enemies characters. If I can drop one in a single turn, then I've pretty much won the match.
TL;DR: Too Much Reliance on Luck, Not Enough on Tactics.
Great Game! 5/5
Suggestion: Free Respec. It's not like there is a lot to the game anyway, might as well let us repec whenever we want, like in Protect.
@ Wheelman: Use the dig command, above the goblin lair placer. Then click where you want excavation. Remember, your workers walk, so they need to be able to get there.
