the soundtrack just kicked into overdrive on the 6th mission! nice. Well done game so far guys; def channeling some x-com, which I adore, but I like the huge amount of blood spewing aliens you toss at the player. 5/5, well done
Its got that old school future vibe. Very chic. Kinda reminds me of STUN Runner from back in the day. For me there'd be more replay value if there were 'levels', which for this sort of thing just means sets of obstacles rather than the same ones generated repeatedly. Nice looking game though 4/5
There's something charming about it, and I like the graphics, but there's not a whole lot of skill, is there? After playing for a bit, I decided its main draw is that its like gambling. "Do I use my elixir or hope that I can get a couple lucky strikes so I can get that armor?" There's a sort of strategy to that, but its pretty limited. I think you know how to make a fun game, now I'm just hoping to see more depth.
hit that x-com fix I've been yearning for, at least for a little while. This has a ton of promise. I'd love to see the complexity bumped up just a bit, as well as the difficulty, as I breezed through it no problem (once again, x-com fanatic). Great job, can't wait to see the sequel.
considering how fast you made it, it was a fun 10 minutes spent. There's something oddly narrative about a little gray dude trying to get to a turtle guy. Thought the flipping jump was cute, too. Its the little things...I like the game literacy idea; I'd love to see this expanded to, you know, like a weeks worth of design
