I always test the new versions of the game and I have never got my cookie files deleted because of it. But there is always a possibility of some issues rise that is why please use the save EXPORT function. This will make Your progress perfectly save. Sometimes even because of updating the web browser Your cookies can be deleted and a precious progress and time lost. I hope that You will continue playing. I understand what you mean, I have also deafened myself with videos, etc, not knowing my sound was up XD Sorry to hear that happened to you though. edit \| delete
