Not a bad stab at B.J. Blackewitz goes Aliens of Gold. Or at least that's how it felt, and for a freebie it's monumentally better than Ken's Labyrinth (always hated that one). I will have to say that having something like the REBA interface for the map, in addition to a run button and a more retro-traditional FPS control scheme would potentially make this baby a five-star, but even without, it's pretty bloody sweet. Thanks for the AoG doors too. :)

lol. it's funny that everybody thinks 25 is so hard. took me a good 40 sec or so to find the sweet angle, but when i did, iust sat back and watched as the last 40-ish ticked away to zip. xD btw, anybody who's ever played arkanoid or breakout should know the trick to an easy win: level 13 is nothing to sweat about....
first time the voice said, "drag! drop!" could've sworn I heard "drive! drunk!" this game is bloody hilarious xD

interesting story, but i'm afraid i have dock it one for a disturbing coincidence. it's obvious that since the coincidence is a virtual impossibility, it has to be a finite improbability. it most certainly would be more likely than not that the ending would happen that way. the allusion is pretty basic, psychologically. in shorter terms, 42. g'bye.

lol. that's it? i was expecting so much more.... i liked where it's gone so far, but i would love to see more. still expecting to see something such eventually, despite it having been a couple years. :)

wow. i can't tell you how impressed i am by this game. not only does a horrendously dull and boring game get badged, it doesn't even work. not only do the badges not work, but the game itself won't even play past the 7th stage for me: so many instances get onscreen that it stops sending brats after the truck and the stage won't finish, and that's in addition to the game freezing up and not letting me fire while the kids run right up and pile onto the truck, on occasion. if you could give a negative score for a game, i would. this game shouldn't even be allowed to stay up as broken as it is.

nice little Cave Story clone, but not much to it. i would've liked to see more, not to mention more music. kudos for the effort.

this game could be awesome. the music is great (despite the Robo reference =p). the platforming and maps are excellent. the controls are simple and straightforward. now if only weren't for that blasted and incessant lagging...

good grief! nice design, but hit box is a fricken triangle, with a base far larger than the battle armor! i can't tell you how many times i've gotten nailed by bullets i was nowhere near. thanks for a hellish experience.

Man this game deserves more badges -- that hard one is one of the most long-windedly irritating endurance badges I've ever suffered through. Anyway, at least this game is a tremendous step above your first effort. One could still point out the absurd length of the game or surprise at the hideous bugs still left in the game (i.e. spells shouldn't be charging from "use" if you've reloaded the game and haven't even used them yet; that's horrific), but at least the overall gameplay is mostly tolerable, if not kinda fun. Most wonderful of all, gone are the terrible controls and isometric eyesore of the first chapter. Kudos to that.

As much as the game tries -- any seemingly lovable pet would -- to get you to like it, some rather hideous controls, a severely limiting inventory system, unnecessarily blurring isometry, and a blistering difficulty curve make this game the kind of pet that you're only willing to put up with so long as endurance itself is worth a badge or two. Forget courage, this game needs to be neutered, stat....

This game has some of the most horrendous AI I've ever seen. I mean, I don't think I've encountered a game this unnecessarily obstructive since Ico (which I admit that despite that stupid princess, was actually quite fun). Units often just stand there doing jack squat or firing at odd targets until others are almost out of range, and then finally start attacking those ones rather uselessly when they are. I'm honestly starting to wonder if this game was programmed in a manner to purposefully drive players mad.

Game needs differentiating mutes for SE and BGM. Call me crazy if you want, but I don't feel like spending the entire game listening to an obvious parody of I Wish They Could All Be California Girls. Yeah, I'm on to you....
