ladnar, right you are. The larva rush is even useful for getting the initial larva saved up to fill up the cocoons for the clone ability.

Don't bother with the swarmwarp or any of the "rushes", both the abilities and mutations. The clone power is a far more efficient use of your energy and mutagen.
