A long but easy guide for beating Master Stone is to get a few ethers and potions (I only needed an ether and 2 manaberries) and 3 or 4 mirrilixirs (I found them all in chests, but you can always craft them with Gloria). Elwyen and Gloria are required, but the fourth character could be anyone (or nobody at all). Have Elwyen use Dolorous Dirge and have the others put mirrilixirs on everyone. After that, have Gloria (and Mardek, when needed) heal. You can throw in some magic attacks every now and then but physical attacks are generally pretty useless.
Wow, someone who isn't afraid to make a game hard. The difficulty is excellent, the gameplay is great (old NES and SNES platformers FTW!), and overall, I had lots of fun playing this game. 5/5
"Endurance champion" is right. Level 12 is NOT hard... it's very easy, and annoying and long more than anything else. Just run around in circles for 10 minutes. You probably won't even get hit....
W00T, I got the hard badge! No need to stress yourself with the harder difficulties if you don't like having to manage 4 or 5 columns at once, I completed all of them on easy. We Wish You A Merry Christmas you basically have to perfect if playing on easy, but that isn't a big deal, it's a fairly easy song. Carol of the Bells takes a little getting used to, but after that it's easy. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen I actually found the hardest, even though the song itself is fairly easy. Try to use one hand to manage A and S, and the other for D and spacebar. With Jingle Bells Rock, the hardest part for me was beating it. After that, it only takes a few more tries before you get it. And 5/5 for the game, except for the 2 typos and occasional messy rhythm, it was great.
Security Guard: "Do you find me attractive?" Mardek: "Not really..." Security Guard: "TERRORIST!!!!" *fights lvl 50 demon that I can't even hurt*
That made me LOL hard.
Great game. Seems a little like a mix between Metroid and the Robot Wants series. The only thing that I found should be changed is really minor (it calls deaths "lives.") But that doesn't detract anything from it, 5/5. :)
Why don't pets regenerate? Just because you can kill them doesn't mean they're inferior in their healing capabilities or anything like that. And besides, it's kind of annoying to have to use wild berries every time they get severely injured. (and yes, I know about the stay command, and use it too. It's really useful, but snakes, scorpions, and other enemies can still run after it and attack when you aren't there, so you have to be careful with where you tell it to stay.)
Hint: When in Moric's ship, it doesn't load you up with Phoenix Downs for nothing. Save them so that when you get to Moric you can use them all on him to do epic damage. It probably won't kill him, but as long as you have Vehrn equipped with the silver sword (double damage to undead, special attack that does a further double damage to undead), that shouldn't be too big of a problem.
This game has made me literally LOL SOOO many times. XD
And other than its great humor, it's a really fun game, maybe even console worthy. 5/5 for humor, story, and gameplay.
@loopylulaura: It iis possible, you just have to unlock 70 awards to be able to equip 2 rewards and (I don't know this one for sure yet, I just have 103) you have to unlock all 110 awards to be able to equip 3 rewards.
*10 seconds away from winning level, only need 1 more turbo* Me: Yes... turbo activated. Now to win this thing. *hits purple car and flings my car into the siding, where it disintegrates* Me: -__-
How the heck did this get a badge? Not saying it's a bad game or anything (in fact it's a good game), but just think of how many seizures this must have caused...
