Some of the imagery is there for atmosphere, some contains visual clues. I am not great at narrative, so I wanted to be suggestive of a theme without being explicit, I wanted to suggest that you are communicating with the 'dead girl' trying to decipher what she wants you to do... In any case it doesn't mean that you have failed if you see the 'dead body'.
Neat concept, but I agree with Metal Ganon in the fact you need to be able to see your current points. Another idea is that you can win an upgrade to how many points per second you get.
There should be a fish trading post. It could be like, ten sea snails for one goldfish. Ten goldfish for one shrimp, ten shrimp for one icefish. That way, if the market prices are low, you can still get amazing fish that sell high.
Also, in the case of the game industry, DRM is only added to try to stop pirates. As more and more people switch to pirates, game companies try to add more and more DRM to try to stop this. Don't be like "OMG UBISOFT Y U ADD DRM I SHALL NOW PIRATE GAEM" because it only hurts the industry even more.
